Figures it'd get axed. Everything from the art style to the plot was never really "Shounen Jump" material. The demographic it's being presented to in WSJ isn't the type that'd read it. While the manga was decent, its excessive violence and attitude of glorifying dirty fighting wouldn't appeal to people who weekly read nonstop stories of "the power of friendship." If anything, the main characters of this story are the type of people who would be villains in other WSJ manga.
All that aside, loved the pinky break move. A few of the "dirty fighting" moves were pretty good. Also, while some of the fight choreography wasn't super great, the series made up for that by adding silly "all according to plan" shenanigans.
Damn, I'm actually going to miss this manga.
Was enjoying a capable MC who actually uses his brains and cunning to win fights, the art style was pretty good too.
Lady Oscar, the level 100 Pokemon brawl master.
I'm gonna miss this manga.
It's just not that good to compete with the other WSJ series, but indeed this one can go a lot further in tier 2 magazine (I consider WSJ, WSM and WSS tier 1 for shounen magazine), but man maybe that's always been the mangaka's dream to be in WSJ top manga list mmm...
As always, wrong magazine... this manga can go a bit futher more if not of WSJ poll system.
For those that called in the axe, well, here you go:
It was quite obvious, but still, such a shame ^^''
i really like this manga i hope it dosent get a chop in da face. momochi looks like sunako from PGE 10/10
A blunt edge is more dangerous than a sharp one....
The MC is pretty legit. All the manga need now is more hot blooded and violent fight.
These bitches love Twilight
I feel like, for a hot blooded manga this chapter contain too many dialogue, he should safe the long dialogue for the important part and more to the brawl in the early chapters mmm...
I will put my two into it be that as it is...this manga isn't half bad, though I do somewhat understand the critiques of being a filler contender to the big timers like Naruto, Bleach and such. It got the potential to shine but it has a long way to make that happen. It ain't Double Hard or Fist of the North Star, but for a straight up Fighting manga, I believe it could be one of those rare gems of manga that is obviously overlooked.
FakeHero's stated opinion, I hold in high regard, too. I don't think SJ will make it shine as it is meant to be, I think another publication will give it shine it needs.
Yo kimbe manly as fuck
Like the story a lot, just wish they stop with the whole "Girl Introduces MC to whole new world and turns out to secretly Strong" motif.
This gets more interesting by the chapter.
Yup, getting real tired of these morality shitlords that are around these days. Only thing worse are the spineless harem MC characters.
Give me a MC that just loves to fight and hates to lose over a MC with noble goals and ambitions any day.
The fights are kinda basic, but still amusing, and the plot is amusing, though the MC has a rather shit driving force behind his actions.
The art is what kills it for me. It's like irredeemably shit, but I'll keep reading nonetheless.
I thought bitches love douchebag , badass muthafuka playboy , bad boy with messy ass hair that's bald in a few place (Hairs that like Hitler's but shave a strips pattern or something )
"compare it with AssClass", really? Assassination Classroom is totally a childish manga, i can't even remember if i saw an act of violence when i read.
How many editors do you know? Turning series down and axing it are two different things. When fans don't like series editors have almost nothing to say.
Sorry but this won't last long just as you said. It's nothing new or fresh (compare it with AssClass). And it's not based on working storyline (Black Clover). It's just another fighting manga.
Well, One Piece was quality manga (it was until the Dress Rosa arc, eight multiple battle scenes shifting in one chapter for 30+ chapters, rushed flashback for Law, semi important character have the same face as Nami, recycled plotline, Donflamingo being a flat character and too many newly introduced characters that no one cares about.), that´s undeniable. But if you really think there´s no yaoi content, look again. The One Piece yaoi contents still flood the yearly Comikets. All votes count in SJ, so chill out lad.
Honestly I didn´t even group it with the other young-boy-team-sport-manga(s), so talk about overreacting much? *smh
I´ve heard they really regret turning away Shingeki no Kyojin. If the rumors are true, I can really see the editor being shunned from being an editor ever again. Too many editor nowadays can´t see talent or posses the talent to be an editor.
