Description: The story follows Tohno Shiki, a teenage boy who, after a near-fatal accident in his childhood, gained the mysterious power to perceive lines covering everything around him. When he cuts along these lines, whatever it was immediately falls apart with a clean cut; in other words, killing it. He would have quickly gone insane from living in a world that could fall apart so easily, had it not been for a wandering self-proclaimed magician who gave him a pair of glasses that blocked his unnatural perception when worn.

Soon afterwards, he was disinherited from his family and sent to live with some relatives. For eight years he lived a normal life, hiding his special eyes, until one day he receives a letter inviting him to come back home. Shiki suddenly becomes caught up in strange and life-threatening series of events, ones that are somehow linked to his childhood accident and a forgotten past...

As a fan of sad, heart wrenching tragedies... That was a little disappointing :/ The ending is cute, but it felt too drawn out. Way too drawn out.
This is simply amazing, i love it and wish there were more mangas with this kind of feel
its a sad ending but better than the anime
this is not a sad ending, they get together in the epilogue, so, this can't get any bettter xD
o___o That was so good. I love stories with sad endings. ;__;
It sure is awesome since it's one of Type-Moon's masterpiece. Very happy that the manga version is far better than anime.
this made me realize that even if we are saddened by death.. death alone won't end... everything that we treasured are soon to be doomed by its destined end... its enough reason to enjoy everything while its still possible.....
Awesome Story line, wish there was more :(
