I love how dramatic shoujos have to be... it's not 'my parent got divorced on my birthday, and now I don't really enjoy them.' it's always the highest extreme. 'My parents got murdered(?) on my birthday, and now I flip out and hit things, even if so much as a cake is brought before me!'
I don't even understand what the mastermind is in this case? If that's the person that helped Saionji setting up the stage, that person must be quite a masochist to be in the group, where the others can kill him/her. For the story so far, I'd like to see all of them dead. Wahahaha...
BTW take solution from Battle Royale, just kill all other guys in the group. Then the last person will survive.

Also is it weird that we've all silently agreed to ignore the fact that the translators are calling it "the mindmaster" in favor of the more commonly used "mastermind?" There have been enough instances of the word for them to use "Mastermind" at least once if that's what they had intended to say, but it's been "mindmaster" every single time.

I doubt that each chapter will represent one day. That would be a bit too fast, and wouldn't allow for any development. I'm going to say it will last between 20-30 chapters.
The shoujo aspects make this more intriguing than it has any right to be, hope the genre blend ends up working in its favor.
This is gonna end in around 10 chapters. With the fact that each morning, someone is gonna die + the fact that they are supposed to find the mastermind and kill him/her, its gonna end quick.
$10 says that it goes the route of the usual "battle royale" format this manga has: Everyone is going to die and the mastermind gets away with it.
Ehh...
