The belief are a good example, most people don't know why they believe what they believe, that's a lot of background activity.
harem??????
My life is a lie! D=
Jokes aside, people only know what they think they know. Whether the idea that they perceive to be correct, is truly correct, can only be determined by the society around them. Well even then, humans tend to believe what they want to believe.
It's like believing that your car becomes 3 times as fast if you paint it red.
Face the facts, 90% or more of earths population are idiots who can't follow discussions or come to simple conclusions after analyzing visible and hidden facts...
They even believe in worse superstitions than back then in the middle ages like save nuclear power usage or obvious lies told by politicians shortly before elections.....
This feels like one of those cheap sci-fi stories that simply throw a bunch of techie jargon at the reader to make it seem "sciencey", only in this case it is philosophy.
Yeah, this manga is shallow but still interesting somehow.
I don't really get it but it seems interesting at least. Dialogue seems rather witty and the reference are nice
So I guess I'll follow it.
If this manga were the ocean not even children could drown in it.
My head hurts and there are more girls to a guy. Followed.
3 chapters in and i still couldn't find personalities that would bind me with the characters. it causes me to think about the filo filo behind this manga.. for now, follow
In answer to his question, filo filo is of course a form of pastry used in Greece among other places, parchment-thin and generally used in multiple layers stacked on top of each other. It's a good idea to put butter or oil on each layer before stacking the next, so it doesn't become dry.
These days somozas are often made with ordinary Western pastry or puff pastry, but a lot of the best ones are done with filo.
Therefore, the club is a sort of esoteric cooking club. I'm sure if he were armed with that knowledge, it would transform his experience there.
If philosophy was written in English, (in the Raw) that could've caused his confusion.
How does he not know what philosophy is? Is this a difference between Japanese and English that I'm not aware of, or is this just an unrealistic exposition?
This is hilarious. It's like bad thought-porn. Followed.
I hope they get into more of a story, referential humor with little understanding of the actual historical subject matter is something I get enough of in manga... : /
latest chapter was a bore and it can be summon by one word chuunibyou (I apologize if spelled incorrectly)
Egads
My friends...
The main character is an excessively empty headed idiot!
And, from what I can tell, the author's portrayal of other people as being of similar qualities to the main character...
...would obviously lead to the conclusion that (from the author's point of view, at least in this particular story) most people are empty headed idiots devoid of inquiry of the world around them, and that such a state of being is normal for your average japanese citizen! Pessimistic, indeed.
Anyway, either
I'm betting on 2, this really comes off like pretentious pseudo-intellectual gibberish. Who knows though, have to see more to find out. Mite b cool
Oh dear. That boy is so far out of his depth it's like a toddler was plucked from his wading pool to hunt Moby Dick.
Nice new chapter title.
HAAHAAA!
