Anyone else not like Aya? He's such a douchebag.
Holy crap, it's alive. I'm so happy. :'( Thank you Lemonade Scans & Muses Scans!
I'm gonna pray they will TT__TT
It is unlikely that a group will adopt this project since it's licensed in English by Kodansha Comics. However, I did see an anonymous ask Lemonade Scans and they said they'll think about it, so who knows~
Is there any groups that can adopt this series and translate it to English? I just found out that Summer Rain won't be translating it anymore
If only I could read and understand Italian </3
Aya-chan... Can I just... take you for myself... please?
uh...
so ya'll liking this manga or?
i like both guys to be honest *3*
Honestly I was enjoying the speedy updates from waiting for spring until people had to disrupt and stop them even though wfs explained they reached out to summer rain first with the intention of helping them.
I wonder when Summer rain is going to release their version of haru matsu bokura (chapters 19, 20, 21...). We've waited patiently for 5 months now and still no update from them. Im also beginning to have doubts that they are the hard working and dedicated group their friends claim them to be. Hmmm, Is the delay because they have lots of manga series they are handling on their list and their staff are probably busy with school and jobs and on top of that they are currently not accepting volunteers? Or have they lost motivation already? Well, hmb is obviously not their priority and since it is going to get licensed anyway so they are not concerned about their slow pace.
To Summer Rain, you said on your PSA that you have already purchased the raws of hmb and that you are going to continue scanlating it, but it seems you are more focused on other series and havent proven that youve worked on hmb. Even so, i will continue to wait and if you can catch up to the Latest chapter then your group will deserve my respect, support and millions of thanks.
To Wfs, (or any scanlators), i hope you will continue your fast updates before it gets licensed since anyway, batoto allows anyone to upload their work here. And dont mind those crazy haters.
I will always be grateful to those people who cared to update this series quickly.
If there wont be any update, well, life goes on...
Thank you for your kind reply. I hope this concludes the scanlation war and everyone will get along and move on. I will be waiting for your updates and include scc please.
"Be nice because you can never go wrong with kindness."
All progress that was completed on chapters had to be restarted because we no longer had access to the original Box account that held everything. When Chane, Hues, and I took over we had no raws, no cleans, and no translations to any of our projects you are asking for. It was pure luck that a friend had raws for HMB. There were a lot of projects we needed to gather and sort through. We needed to make sure we could get the raws, and if there were any we wanted to drop, as well as gather a lot of our staff.
This is why many of our releases aren’t as fast as they were before. All I can say is that I promise you we're working on things as quickly as we can. Rather than sitting idle and not updating anything at all while we have our projects in the works, we decided to at least upload our old projects to the reader. It was something Tsuba had been planning to do because of the loss of our old reader and website (summer-rain.info) over a year ago. She only managed to upload a few projects before she passed.
I'm sorry if any of our replies came off as mean; I promise you our intention wasn't to appear that way. We’ve been trying to be more direct with our replies and answer questions clearly to prevent any and all misunderstandings.
Hues, Chane, friends from other scanlation groups, and myself have put our all into rebuilding Summer Rain with what little we had left. I know; it's been stated over and over and over again and to some I imagine it's starting to sound like "my dog ate my homework", but it's true. It's the only answer we really have for you as to why our releases haven’t been as quick as they were in the past. Not only that, but Tsuba could proofread, clean, and typeset a chapter in a day and a half when she sat down to do it.
I’d also like to take the time in this comment to say that this entire "war" has taken a huge toll on us and many of our friends in the scanlation community. Hues, Chane, and I (along with many others in our group and others) were incredibly close with Tsuba. There was seldom a day where we didn't talk and spend time with her. She wasn’t just our admin, she was our friend and even like an older sister to our younger members. We're doing our best to carry on Tsuba’s legacy; Summer Rain was something she did a lot for and practically put all of her time into.
To me, Summer Rain is the only memento aside from memory that I have of one of my closest friends, and I'm sure there are many who can say they feel the same. So to have Summer Rain put in this kind of spotlight hurts. It has drained, angered, frustrated, and hurt many of us who were friends with Tsuba. This is a group our friend put so much of her life into.
I made this comment to answer yours, and I'm sure many others', questions. Not to gain sympathy, not to gain pity. I promise we don't want that, but I can tell you what we do want.
We want understanding. Summer Rain is its own entity, but the people behind it are very real. We get hurt, we get frustrated, and we understand your impatience. Like many of you, we also have lives with school and jobs and other things outside of scanlation and manga. As I'm sure this "war" has angered and frustrated many of you, it has angered and hurt many of us too.
