That's among the dumbest plots for manga I've read and annoyingly it seems like stupid plots like this are always forced into what would otherwise be mindless ecchi manga. Why have a plot if your plot is stupid?

You have to remember this is the military doing this. The purpose for keeping a human around is quite simple. "Domination and control" Think about it, you have a being that can subjugate any other person in the world. That's a great tactical weapon for an army. So what do you do? Put the person in "protective custody" get him close to someone from the military. And boom instant weapon asset that can literally reshape the world at your disposal.

You have to remember something. His "presence" eliminates a good portion of their thought process. They aren't paying attention to the ears he has because they are so enraptured over being near him. Their joy over being near him is overwriting their ability to rationally process stuff. Furthermore in a society where they have literally made half human/ half animals.. how do you know his floppy ears *feels* fake? Furthermore,

Because if the humans are allowed to reproduce, there's no guarantee that the children wouldn't also be able to control the regular therianthropes.

And by their fantasy genetics (only loosely resembling reality): the beast DNA isn't well established in the therianthropes; basically, they're recessive genes, so the likely result of a humanXtherianthrope pairing is that the child's characteristics will be predominantly human, if not entirely.

 

It would lead to a slow, but steady, diminishment of the therianthrope population, over whom the increasing number of humans would have supreme power over.

 

So the therianthrope government(s?) decided to use a eugenics program (minus the immediate death or enslavement of the target; just 'protective custody') to ensure that humans would die out completely. It's merely a convenience for the sake of the story that they didn't just flat out abduct and kill any humans they discovered.

 

 

And speaking of conveniences, reality would dictate that therianthropes would inevitably face severe genetic illnesses, and any interbreeding of different types of them would only increase the odds of disaster in their perpetual game of genetic Russian roulette... Especially considering that this was an emergency measure meant to save humanity from extinction; there's no way that the therianthrope technology was able to be tested or forecast to ensure that the above is not the case (which is easily evident in the fact that there was no foreknowledge that therianthropes would compulsively obey humans).

No, I don't think 12 to 15 year old, when sexual urges are at their highest, are best age for reproduction. Neither is 5 to 7 years old, the peak of sexual curiosity in girl's life (and parents hope she doesn't get her small hands on the real thing).

I am a bit behind, but from what I can see, the whole system is horribly flawed. Rather than preserving what is left of humanity, those restrictions are more like a way to torture a dying species. If they really wanted to preserve the human race, they would bring him into contact with a human female and hope for the best. That is how one attempts to help a species on the brink of extinction, not dump three females on him that are bound to become horny messes sooner or later, and be even worse due to him being a human being, and tell him that the only way he can get relief is if they get to watch while he does it!
