I think this happened before the original because Uchiyamada just got promoted as Vice Principal.
Edit: Okay, got confused and had to check it again. It is said here that he is 24 yrs old and he has 2 yrs of teaching experience so I guess this happened after the original.

Idk how to feel about this. I mean, I loved the original but, I hope things don't get watered down or bland. This was a special series to me...I don't want to see it degrade into standard shounen fodder (which is why I haven't read Shonan 14 Days yet).
