Description: | In a time and place where one’s soul can be morphed into a weapon, there are modern-day magicians called Mage-Knights. Although Kurogane Ikki is a student at an institution that trains Mage-Knights, he has no particular talent in magic and is labeled the "Failure Knight" or "Worst One." Getting way less than average marks in the scorings, he was forced to repeat a year. But with the arrival of a new head of the institution, a new rule was created: knights whose abilities are compatible, as decided by the board, must share rooms and attend practice and training together throughout their school years to bring up their abilities to the max. It is a rule to implement the absolute verdict of ability. Ikki’s roommate, Stella Vermillion, turns out to be a princess of another foreign country. Stella is a Rank A knight: the type of genius in magic who only appears once a decade. When Ikki walked in on her while she was changing her clothes, it caused a huge misunderstanding (since neither yet knew of the new rule) which eventually ended up in a duel between the two of them. The punishment (or as some might see it, the prize) of the losing side is Eternal Submission to the winning side. Forced to live the same room and practice magic together throughout all their school years, how will Stella and Ikki’s relationship evolve? This manga is an adaptation of the light novel series written by Misora Riku and illustrated by Won. https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=109987 |

for some reason this reminds me a lot of Gakusen Toshi Asterisk
MC is NOT the weak/protected by the girls type. I don't consider MC as 'badass' but he is strong (Chapter 1)
Just wanted to say that in case people might avoid it prematurely from the description
I sure hope he's not ALWAYS the weakest. I can't stand it when mangas are like that. Give me something like Mx0 where the MC eventually gets to be strong. Hopefully it doesn't take 90 chapters for that to happen, though.
it took me at least 4 seconds to read that princess's last full skill name, did she said it first then swing it, or swing it during the naming?
either case if it was me, in that 4 seconds i could go behind her back in normal human speed, stab her back and grab her butt at the same time.
given the super speed ability like the MC, i could go beside her, grab her boob, guess the size, put my hand inside the bra to confirm the size, then grab her butt...
seriously, what kind of naming sense is that?
Yaaaaay, another boring tsundere heroine. At least she's not fucking blonde this time.
then that manga is a rip out of the older manga with same concept?
female harem == instant follow
flaming tsundere and a near-drop out, really feels like Seirei Tsukai w/o the pettanko Claire, in fact it's like mixing STnK and Gakusen Toshi Asterisk
Anyone else feel that it was a total rip-out of To Aru Majutsu no Index's Toma with that weakest crushing strongest line?
I am not sure if the description is being sarcasting with the things they said in the (.....) lol
Sounds defnitely totally below medicore, below average, boring weak boy with strong girl turns into harem because he has courage and is nice.
For a simple downward sword swing coated with magic, the naming is really over the top. What's this, HK comics?
@SHINJI.K
Sorry about that, I uploaded the draft ver. already changed it >.<
Kumagawa
also, removing limiters is like Kusanagi from Anti-Magic Academy
Or even the currently airing Dragonar. Not original in the least, but could be fun?
Kinda like seirei tsukai or gakuen toshi.
This definitely make me think of absolute duo. It is very funny but I can still see this somehow becoming a harem situation. What I mean by that is that I see girls going after him for his talent and also there will likely be a childhood friend whether boy or girl just following the pattern of these things. But still this is a good read and I doubt he will take her as his slave/servant according to their deal.
That one did strike me a bit odd, but I was to lazy to check the raws. Even after two years of Japanese at collage level i still suck too much to read the raws properly
why is it always fire?
umm, that's an honest mistake on my part. That should actually be within just a minute. Dunno where I got the 10 minutes.
he is weak therefore he is strong.
she is strong therefore she is weak.
Feels like a mix of a few fairly known light novels
This is Raad.
