It still lives!
The Spiderman arrives!
honestly i find myself enjoying the side comments so much i sometimes catch myself skipping the actual manga panels to read the comments then going back to the pannels rofl
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
Definitely
The two of them still kind of remind me of...
Hopefully there is a way to detect auto sniffers. Would be nice to be able to place gag pages ragging on snifferbots.
while some parts of it seem interesting, some parts of it seem boring as well...
x.x
I have yet to see any manga reader site follow the 3 day rule, maybe when scanlation was in its infancy and mangafox was a sparkle in some college students eye in his or her dorm room, who really follows the 3 day rule, most mangareader sites have auto sniffers that auto download
thx for the update... keep it up plz
those sites remove credit pages whether you diss them or not
Just in case, to those new readers and find it annoying of the various side comments and stuff. It's a past chapter when we had a bad blood with MangaHere/Fox -- the files for this is well, not found in our archive anymore so we don't have the time to edit it out. Sorry for the inconvenience.
So the MC becomes an errand boy/key to the loli-nun....not very interesting.
u.u .... Kingdom Heart?
For a period of time, I used to do something similar with my group's releases. But was informed by a few people that MH/MF/etc were removing the credit pages from our releases because of that. AS much as I dislike those other readers, I want the work that is done by our people to be seen, even if most people don't care or look, I want the work to be credited properly. So I eventually removed it.
You continue to make absolutely no sense.
Gonna add on here that these sites have received multiple DMCAs before. They're outside the reach of the DMCA because the sites are based out of China, and the DMCA is a United States copyright law.
No matter how much you hope this will happen, it's not going to happen. Most people are going to continue using MH/MF/MR whatever without care no matter how much you try to enlighten people. A vast majority of readers just don't give a shit about scanlators, they just want their manga, and they don't care how they get it, as long as they get it.
Moral of the story here is; just scanlate the manga, release it, put a single credit page crediting the people who worked on it, and that's that. There's no point in trying to join in on a battle that already began and ended years ago.
I really wish somebody more knowleageable than me made a list of all the series referenced here, since every character seems like a amalgamation of references so it's pretty hard to point out which franchise is being parodied. For example, the nun is a reference to index and Asia, but her personality is clearly the opposite of both, being taciturn like the classic vampire hunter archetype of anime/manga, kind of like Big Bang Age's Hiouguu Kaguya.
And thanks Kisu KMS for this series, it's been a while since I've read a series which requires such high "power level" to be throughly enjoyed.
I thought that the whole index thingy was unmistakably intentional. When he first sees the nun the MC just denied that anything supernatural existed and was surprised that "In what appeared in front [...] only happened in light novels..." so it's pretty clear which light novel the MC is talking about. (Remember that in Japan, the Light novel of Index is far more popular than the anime/manga.)
If you think that glutonous little nuns = index then you haven't seen/read much anime/manga. Glutonous little girls have been in anime/manga since the inception of the industry. So no, that scene doesn't automatically spell "Index" to me. What did that was the scene before that, when she is hanging in the tree: that was a clear parody of how Touma meet index. Also, I believe that besides index, the tree meeting was also parodying the first appearance of Asia the nun of High School DxD.
It's called parody. Do you know the meaning of that word?
Actually, she seems more like Oriana Thomson with Kanzaki's jeans and hair color.
Please, it obvious that the series is consciously referencing and parodying countless series. I'm more surprised that, for example, you didn't notice that they used motherfucking keys as weapons. Which popular franchise is popular for this?
Putting in something like "Read this on batoto because MangaHere is stupid" would be okay, though. That's how I found this website anyway.
The new meaning of "Key To Your Heart"...
Exactly
Followed...
And not because of the kemonomimi loli... AHEM!
Holy kemonomimi loli.
99% of readers are going to completely ignore any page in a release that isn't the actual manga's chapter, and only serves to annoy the people that are trying to read something. While that too does frustrate me as a scanlator, there's nothing we can do about it. It's just how people are nowadays.
There is absolutely nothing we, as scanlators can do to stop anyone or any site from uploading our releases. The internet is public domain, and what we do as scanlators straddles a very gray legal line.
Yes sites like MangaHere and Fox and whatever are profiting of off our work, but after about a one month bout personally of trying to combat something like that after I first started, I learned to just not give a fuck.
Scanlators exist to release manga to the public that usually would not be available to them, so what's the point of doing something that only annoys the shit out of the very people we do our work for?
Refer to my upcoming (or maybe by the time you've read this, received) PM. I don't want to derail actual manga discussion from, y'know, the manga.
thank you KMS and don't stop putting in credit pages, I love when groups do that as they are usually hilarious or enlighten me on bad practices from online readers. I'd never have started using Batoto if it weren't for various scanlation groups recommending it for instance.
Now on the manga I expected Melinda to at some time bite the MC. I mean seriously a loli nun that eats like garbage drain...
We putted a number of Credit Pages because we wanted to, people aren't going to get reminded or get to know stuff happening on our side without seeing it on the release, have you seen any normal readers who thinks that MangaHere or MangaF@ck translated the manga go to the Scanlation Group website to thank them? Not really... We have lots of Credit Pages to constantly remind that we're the one who worked on it -- it's blood and sweat you know -- I got 13 projects on Kisu KMS but not all of them are being appreciated so to equally make that manga have more attention -- I have putted general information about Kisu KMS and their stuff -- additionally -- we got tons of series that needs translator thus the double Recruitment Gif Page -- if we don't have the enough translators, you won't see this kind of manga won't it? You can't even read this at all since it's not translated, until someone really take this series into their project list.
Kisu KMS is a scanlation group that has lots of girls and lots of translators -- ranging from 20+ Translators AND WE STILL NEED MORE!
And only me as their Main Cleaner and two who's semi-active
Our redrawers is only 4
Our typesetters is only 3 that is active (That includes me)
and 3 Proofreaders
and we got 33+ projects -- most of them are Chapter 1 new series or series that are unknown to public that we want to continue
Love it! I hope you guys keep up the updates for this. Thanks!
