Since when makes you knowing the quadratic formula a genius, or who doesn't know the quadratic formula by the age of 14/15?

Spoiler

Seriously that has happened so many times in so many manga that it's gotten boring.

...

...

...

How many times is it gonna happen in this one?

Little smartass

Pretty typical for the Japanese, maybe, as I easily weigh almost twice as much.

The MC does have a point about the guns though. What is the point if all they manage to do is drive them back into the sea not having finished them off?

It's just an assumption, but maybe they do kill some of the AUS with them.

Because theres no point in finishing them off if you can't stop them at the core.

You can't win a war if you don't invade the enemy territory. The U.S. tried that during the Vietnam War and it turned into a 10+ year meatgrinder cause North Vietnamese forces would simply retreat back into North Vietnam, resupply, reinforce, retrain and attack again, and again, and again, and again, and again until the U.S. gave up.

That said, the sheer lack of military understanding in this story is just plain sad. Specialist soldiers commonly have higher than usual rank but almost never put in command of regular forces (ie. Why put a Spec Ops, behind enemy lines Captain in charge of a regular, hold-the-line infantry squad?)

Really good to see a MC who actually knows what he is doing and is not in the dark about weapons, enemies and that stuff. It even make sense for once who young girls are the only ones who can pilot the special armor, a weight limit is more logic than "only females can pilot it".

yes, the suit make you able to fly so weight limit more logic.

From a military perspective: the hell system of ranking are they using? Regular army ranking system (Sergeant Major was an indicator of that), then classes (are they considered cadets? And if so, why are they taking combat operations? If not, why aren't they using military rank, and why aren't they in military uniforms?), and your respective position in a class is based on some kind of performance ranking? (How the hell do you know who's in charge during combat ops when the ranks change from week to week?) The chain of command is fucked as hell here.

I generally don't want to fault a manga for failure to match with reality (its a story, for chrissakes), but if you're going to have a military-based setting, half-assing it and creating a jumbled rank structure is going to help absolutely no one understand character interactions in the story.

That said, I enjoy the partial-mecha suits, the tsundere, and the concept of a specialized hand-to-hand combat suit, so I'm sticking around for more.

Agree. If they want MC higher rank than the Girl, they should make a General or a Major interesting in MC and promote him.

Wait what... 43 kg, that's like 95 lbs?

Believe me, 50% my colleage friend (girls) is about 42-47kg and 1.5-1.7m tall.

Asian like us have many people under-develop.

Maybe because of Genes and Nutrition.

PS: still, our face make us don't look like Loli, so don't get your hope up. We just small, short and light weight.

AUS eh... could that be Australia?... or maybe "gasp" USA... not very subtle

Pretty tame for being in Dragon Age magazine. Guess there's plenty of room to work with then.

your typical action harem. but nothing's saying it's not a nice read.

I agree, but no need to take it too seriously. This manga is for kids anyway.

I like when a MC know what he is doing but this one feels somehow stupid.

It really feels like he is putting all the blame on the gear and not in his inaptitude to use it.

Hope that we're not gonna end up with everyone just support with gun and let the MC do the chuunibyou style. We have enough of it atm.

I find the premise of the story and the need for those suits to combat their enemies disagreeable and a total waste of tax money on a bunch of kids.

Miltary setting with all the regulation and shit.

Still in highschool.

Why am i not so supprise about it ?

hmm I like it so far. But it would of been nice if the MC sticked to guns instead of his fist. It's been awhile since I read a harem that didn't use magic, swords, or martial arts.

Well it has martial arts hints with the reference to qigong and all. By the way is this a monthly manga.

Pink twin tails girl is annoyinh but nice boobs. And mc become a higher rank than her in only one chapter? this will be interesting

Now I know what Tobiichi Origami was up to in her earlier years.

"There is no one in this universe other then Phi" .... yeah she's not obsessed or anything about being with the MC...

Not that much plot in this chapter. but it looks interesting i'll follow.

(I bet people are going to call this another infinite stratos clone.)

Kinda like that the guy character knows what he's doing
