Other than the general feeling of embarrassment being written about, I'd wager the specific thing that got her angry was stuff about dealing with her period. In chapter one, it shows him getting feedback about it from internet users, after all.
Because he wrote about their lives.
He probably blogged about things she doesn't really want people to see, even if the name is different and no one can see her face.
Someone she knows could identify quite easily by clothes, their home/apartment and then get some juicy details about her.
It doesn't have to be something incredibly crazy. Kids like their privacy.

Well, privacy doesn't exist in modern society. Not long ago I found that Google shows some of apps installed on my phone as recommendations for people in my addressbook in gmail. What was even more surprising I didn't find any way of blocking this option.
