Thanks for bonus chapter, too bad the scans are so small... D:
Couldn't read it that well... :<

The point of low quality direct scans is to try to get fans to buy the actual copies. I'm scanning my yugioh zexal with readable but poor quality for the same result >.>

Lol'd @ that last scene from chapter 67. Priceless.

heh Steak's poop.

She can track Roda by hearing and scent? And her reflexes match up to a military grade, hybrid experimental weapon?

I SMELL BACKSTORY.

Actually, I think It explains how the guy who delivered Lag (I forgot his name lol) or any other individuals that are part of this organization could send the big bugs to the town and stuff. In my opinion, It was more strange the sudden "And now, Zazie hour!" than this. But ok. We are still waiting to see what's the deal with Lag's mother and the place she is supposed to be in right now.

shes the Empress and shes in that in between capital place

Introducing a human that controls the laphreug this late in the story is...kind of strange. Compelling, yes, but until now they've all been this mysterious force that no one understood or controlled. It brings their power down a bit to say that suddenly a human is capable of controlling them. I'm curious to see how the author will explain this.

I'm actually dubious that she is actually controlling the Gaichuu. I see it more as the Gaichuu recognizing that it would be more efficient to let her lure people to the inn to eat rather than hunting. Thus their relationship is a fragile, symbiotic one, where the moment the Gaichuu senses she is no longer useful, it will turn on her.

Eyes are the only part of the human body that does not grow.

Thats actually only an urban legend. I thought so myself before and looked it up only to learn I was wrong. Indeed the human eyes do grow as the person grows older.

Following line is from wikipedia:

The vertical measure, generally less than the horizontal distance, is about 24 mm among adults, at birth about 16–17 millimeters (about 0.65 inch). The eyeball grows rapidly, increasing to 22.5–23 mm (approx. 0.89 in) by three years of age. By age 13, the eye attains its full size.

Ohhhhh is alive again!

Niche is the best.

Trying to imagine a little baby with a spirit amber in its eye which somehow still fits the face of a near teen seems a bit off.

Eyes are the only part of the human body that does not grow.

Is it just me or does the last page of c64 seem... cut off or incomplete?

O my god, No wonder all I get are duh FEELS. Lag is not only the master, but the embodiment of feels, love, and warm-and-fuzziness itself.

God this manga has so horrifically warmed my soul, it's almost tragic.

Sorry, grammar must always give way to a face-melting smile.

<:D~~~~~~~~~~~~~X3

Well, technically, a baby's eyes are usually about 65 to 75 percent of their eventual adult size. Like it has been said, maybe the amber could grow along with Lag, though it doesn't have to grow so much.

really? I thought eyes didn't grow in size at all. That's why babies look like they have giant eyes.

Well now, that was interesting. o_o

Can anyone tell me if the anime version is in sync with the manga or does it just contain certain aspects of the manga?

It sort of splits after episode 39 (Vol 10 Chapter 38)

It was mainly in sync, but the anime didn't reach this far. If you haven't seen the anime yet, go for it ...

This god damn cliffhanger....Ughhhh...

Well, how about imagining an adult crybaby, with normal eyes. Now reduce the size of his face and the amount of exposure the eyes show, being covered by skin. There you go, Same size but smaller appearance. Or you know, since its an magical amber made of heart, it could "grow" in size lessening density...

.... Well, that just set the record for "fastest pregnancy ever"...

... Totally did not expect "The Child of Light" to be taken that literally!

Congratulations Lag! Your daddy is an Eldritch Abomination that doubles as a sun! Good for you! :D

Not quite. The fetus-like thing that Houdini saw while on the airship WAS Lag.
