I think it has more to do with compatibility. Crazy chick was doing all right with her crazy inugami before she pushed herself past her limit and I suspect the same is true of bow girl. It came easy to them because they're pretty down with their dogs, while Sakura was being all tortured and conflicted about it.

 

The advantage in having a sane inugami is most likely in how far she can push her own limits now that she's found her common ground.

Hm I don't think that's the case. For crazy chick/Maki it looked more like she dominated her dog. She was abusing the spirit rope thing to force her dog into submission, that's why she could control her powers, the dog was weaker than her. As soon as Flame Dog tricked her into letting the rope go, he overpowered her and took over. Maki was actually encouraging Sakuya to use similar methods to her, telling her to use the rope to control Shippe. On the bright side, it looks like Sakuya is going the opposite route. Instead of forcing Shippe to give his powers to her, it looks like she's forming an understanding with him and they're starting to trust each other more. It might get to the point where Shippe won't take Sakuya over even if she weakens.

I've seen enough hentai to wish that kept going -___-a

Just started reading. Too much blood and death and random killing at first but got interesting when the story starts to wrap around. 

Glad that romance drives the story, puts meaning to their actions.

I think when it comes to the great inugami, I think it comes down to who retains his humanity upon death and who was wild upon death, remember 75 inugami spirits fight for dominance until one becomes the main guardian, so if a wild and crazy one who never retained his humanity upon death become the guardian than I would assume it would take more control to control him than it would with one who retained his humanity

Man, I knew from the moment Sana first appeared in that flashback something terrible was going to happen to her... That seems to always be the fate of sickly little sister characters... But the way she died really makes me feel bad... Good on her brother for finally avenging her before he died, and saving that other little girl...

Hmmm...I just realized

Fate/Destiny? that Shippe and Sakuya, the two least aggressive of their kind shown (Shippe consciously avoid attacking human if possible, while Sakuya ponders over her 'duty') turns out to have rather striking similarity to Osekami.

The most interesting is that This Inugami is not a bloodthirsty, beast without mind of his own. He seemed to have enough control over his werewolf body, to not cause the troubles. Which is much different from the Dog-humans that we see in current day-time.

But I think we all know what will happen to those who harmed his sister.

Hmm... it's presenting the scene like he was too late to save his sister from being sacrificed, but what's with the destruction at the site if that's what it was?

Welp, this chapter is foreshadowing a lot of shit hit the fans

Like how the branch houses will most likely do a coup, but which ends up with themselves dead for it.

Or the other two might ends up...'disciplined' when their Inugami somehow reverse the position (although given how the inugamis are so far...one grilled + one ends up like she went through Iron Maiden...

I'm guessing the history that was recorded down isn't really what happened.

And the big dog facing his back on the volume cover is the MC's dog, when he still had his full body.

hmmm...the story got a lot more interesting. No more just tits and gore, we getting more drama in teh scales.
