That's right, in tankoubon version the numeration begins since 00, and the first Jap-Eng fansub began the numeration since 01 as the magazine.

Well, CAT Scans' quality is top notch (as usual) and the most recent ("No Group") release is pretty good, too. Those other J->Sp->En translations, though... How does one "English"?

It is actually chapter 55 but for some reason the english scanlations are numered one chapter forward, i named it chapter 56 because it's the direct continuation of the english chapter 55 and to hopefully avoid confusion. It's spanish to english, sorry  if some dialogue is a little confusing, i tried to translate as best as i could.

This entire tournament is just basically a giant fight of which school is better and what not, more of a friendly tournament between all of the schools in the story. Anna was originally the one who part of this dimension. Meaning she was the original official Luxuria of the Trinity Seven, however since Lilith was sent here by her father which was part of a different dimension, she was replaced by Lilith who has the same archive of her's which leads to her death as when Lilith's father accidentally created a black sun when sending Lilith as a infant to this dimension, which leads to Anna using her special magical skill which allows her to change into different dimensions of sorts.

Hijiri is basically a spirit. However she cannot last in the real world forever as she expends large amounts of magic in order to stay in the physical plane. It's not really shown how she came back but she did to fight in the tournament in order to save Arata from his fate.

 

Arata basically was sealed into himself which sounds strange but he was. Anna actually has the unique connection with Arata as she loves him dearly, and can control magic kings. Magic Kings are basically what Lilith's father is, people who look like Arata but are possessed  their Magic King element which changes their personality to some extent and eventually taking over the original's personality. Now Anna forced the Magic King to come out of Arata which she currently has in her possession, and sealed Arata within the Magic King. So Hijiri and Arin ( The chick that looks like Hijiri ) caused a mini black sun and used it teleport to a place which is a stream of Karma which leads to other parallel worlds which a person who looks like Arata is eventually fated to become the Trinity King and destroy his world along with the Trinity Seven.

Whoa whoa, so at first I get it that Arata is special like every guy protagonist in every manga ever.  Here the special thing is being Magic King.

I thought things got weird when he met this grey motherfucker who is suppose to be his counter part and a bad guy and also the father of this Teacher he wants to bang.  Now you're telling me his whole special Magic King property is to just eventually become a emotionless pawn (or taken over by a completely different personality) by Anna aka the Luxuria archive holder aka the Teacher's counter part?

at some point this series went from barely understandable to something being poorly translated into Japanese, and then back into English. and then there're the bad translations into English from Spanish which poorly translated the Japanese gibberish, which make it all the more so fun.

I think I may have outgrown this particular battle harem... It's not due to the translation, and all thanks to the team who keep it going all this time. It's just that I don't look forward to the next chapters.

Artstyle wise, everyone looks so similar and it's always a perpetual on character's faces, so that the drawings don't even appeal to me anymore. Storyline wise it's just a mess that has dragged on for far too long. Character wise some supposedly relevant characters haven't even appeared majorly for a long while, such as the grimoires.
