Probably Sora no Otoshimo, if you read the manga, recent chapter is brutal (in the rage and sad side).

she probably killed her dad or killed herself. and well if burning ants which is usually done in a person's childhood is a sin, then turning a blind eye and deserting a friend definitely nets him a one way trip too.
Well, I came expecting to see him adding up the sins by burning ants with a magnifying lens or something. He was playing in a sandbox, seemed like the likely conclusion...

I'd assume that he was sent to hell because he didn't do anything to save a girl that was being consistently raped by her own father.
