together forever, as FRIENDS
It's funny how both Tomo and Jun seem to have the exact same habit of saying things to their friends that sound exactly like they are hitting on them.
Deserve? God, no. But she brought it on herself.
Jun didn't understand the boys/girls differences, that's why he even hit (super finger flicking) Mizuzu.
Doesn't it seem like Jun doesn't actually know why he felt bad about Tomo being with other guys? In the present day, he's still confused about his feelings towards Tomo. That means denial, or just being dense.
So basically Jun's brain is a literal cinderblock
Yeah... It was actually all Tomo's fault. From Jun's perspective, she doesn't consider him boyfriend material and she wants him to stay with her as best friends forever.
Tomo didn't develop proper romantic feelings until later (there is still 2 years between this chapter and chapter 1 I think).
So from the beginning of the series, he already knew Tomo was a girl after that traumatizing middle school experience and all the 'bro-ship' you see him dote on her is because he's still happy to have her back as a friend, not because he's treating her like one of the guys. We've seen him focus a lot of thoughts and actions towards their friendship so we'll see if we get towards a romantic shift after Jun's flashback and his "I've reached my goal, what should I do now? thought we were left with prior to the flashback.
Summary: Jun was never in denial.
Google: How to un-friendzone someone you friendzoned 5 seconds ago.
He's so dense he's confusing readers like you now.
The headache generated from this convoluted love story partially remedied by the sight of blushing Tomo.
....Ain't we glad this flashback is not happened in beginning of story, so when we return to present day timeline most of problems already solved and only waiting inevitable 'how to do proper romantic date' arc.
But it's like, Jun's not exactly dense, he's just so far in denial that Tomo's a girl or he's so sure he isn't worthy of her it's almost worrisome.
The ship was sunk deeper than the Mariana Trench before that bastard even had a chance. This is probably the most crippling ship catastrophe ever.
Jun wins hands down
tomo no
So this was the moment Tomo screwed up...
Tomo doesn't deserve this fate.
This is still the flashback. So if it's the "end" then...
That's why you always keep at least one backup save. Tomo's still a n00b, it seems.
No, no, you got it all wrong. There's three ninjas and a paperclip, but you need teriyaki and they're supposed to meet at sunrise, not sunset,
They would power through every difficulty they encountered while raising their child with their sheer guts and willpower, until one of the supporting cast came along and pointed out the obvious solution. This would happen repeatedly, throughout the child's infancy, until they reached the age that they became aware of how idiotic their parents were, and would defer to the most sensible person in their life instead: likely 'Aunt Muzuzu', who would take advantage of her position of influence to teach the child to do things that took advantage of their parent's denseness for her own amusement - especially against Jun.
It's like they're having a competition who is more fucking dense.
He really took 40 pages and one whole year to get at that answer? This boy is a bit dense
There is a third option, it involves 3 ninjas, taiyaki, a paperclip, and the Seto Bridge at sunset, but at this point it's unlikely to happen.
