I always love the opening but then as the story goes on...pretty draggy for me...stopped reading already but this webtoon's art is really gorgeous!

2) The MC loves money more than all Jews combined(dont kidnap me for this please)

3) The MC only cares about himself(and his family)

other than that, its a heartwarming adventure story that u can enjoy with your whole family

From what I read from the web novel that's exactly what happened. He spent a year between auctioning off his character and starting Royal Road generally working out (martial arts, etc.) and working construction. Either way, he didn't necessarily become buff, but he did have a toned, lean build.

yea they made him too much in the image of a korean. he looks like a typical korean when hes suppose to look older than 20, suppose to be buff from working out and really his clothes doesn't help to make him look like he's in poverty. Bingryong design (though we couldnt see it clearly as of yet) looks way skinnier than i imagined (since hes suppose to be unable to walk properly cause of how fat he was).

and finally seoyoon just looks like the pretty girl in "how to draw manga/manhwa" books. like kinda plain :/

Ugh... I don't know what it is, but I hate his character design. I imagined him more... cynical? I don't know what it is, but he seems like a child in this where his true character is a manipulative madman. I guess I want him more rugged, yeah that seems about right, he's missing the wild factor.

I did see that picture before reading the LN but the LN makes you visualize him differently. A little disappointed the artist illustrated him a lot more "boyish" y'kno but it's okay still super looking forward to getting the story fully illustrated.

What made you hate him in the LN?

Probably the fact that Weed isn't the submissive goody goody self-righteous little Jesus like sissy figure MC who jerks himself off in front of his mirror over a moral superiority complex to pander to "feel good" idealistic crowds that like living in a hugbox, like people are used to having MCs be here.

Well, it is a time of reversal of that trope. I hope he is the same in this version as in the novel and i hope they don't crap up anything, otherwise there will be a manhunt, and geomchis will lead it.
