I think it might be more of a comparison than a literal description; that he acts like an Orc (who are know to be greedy) when it comes to his wife's cooking as opposed to being an actual Orc.

About the Dark Elf race,

Yea the Dark Elf race was unlocked by someone else off screen Weed wasn't involved. Weed could have either unlocked them or the Orcs during that quest, they stayed an NPC race after he left, but were chosen by others in later chapters, so again my first point.

As for the Dark Elf in the chapter its possible to customize a Human to look like an Elf, so it should be possible for people who like Dark Elves to make a fake one. I don't think a full list of possible races was actually given at the start ( too many people were surprised about the Orcs)

it is expressely said that dark elf race was unlocked together with the orc race when the orc and dark elf village became ones of the starting villages in land of malevolence, and even the fact about being a rumor the training of stats, it is expressely said so, that it was a rumor, when player asked why weed was desperately hitting the scarecrow, one of the high level player explained that there was a rumor that it was possibile to train your stat about 1 or 2 point if you repeat the same action!

It is easy to make mistakes because there are so many volumes, but before saying someone is wrong, try to confirm visually and don't go to what you remember after so much time! I'm pretty confident with my memory, and i read all the translated volumes of LMS thi month, so it is still fresh in my memory! It's just an advice, it is also possible that i'm remembering wrong or confusing with another LN (i read LMS and ARK together, so it is possible that i'm making some mistakes), but for now i'm pretty sure that i'm not in the wrong, but you can always try, if you found out and quote the part were i'm wrong to me, than i'll accept that i was wrong! good look in finding them if you want! You have all the time you want, because i understand that it isn't possible to reread everyting in a single day!

They changed WEED to [D]EEW~

Well it's true that compared to the novel it's fast paced, but if i think about the amount of chapters avaible and their length it is not unreasonable. Having some minor things changed doesnt really matter. Also art is absolutely great.

I like the novel, but this is promising too. Though Weed should be a gloomier kind of guy.

Originally I was so hype for this.... now I'm getting annoyed, only on the 4th chapter and they are already having different things happen compare to the novel. =/ I'm now sad.

I get annoyed when people start comparing to the novel.  Go read the novel and let the other readers enjoy it.

Okay first off, you are incorrect with what you been saying for some of the details. I'm one of the Translators who translated vol 7 of LMS.

1) Only orcs were the unlocked race from the Undead Legion quest.  Dark Elves just became more popular after the Undead Legion quest.  
2) The thing about training as a rumor and wasn't known knowledge is wrong.  It used to be popular with the new players to do the same thing as what Weed is doing, however, they gave up mainly because of the effort involved.  So it isn't a "rumor" as you put it.
3) the webtoon did exactly as how the novel said it for the interaction between the Instructor and Weed

Objectively speaking, his class is insanely over powered. The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor class can learn all production class skills. Each of those classes have aspects that are beneficial to combat. For example, fishing gives huge bonuses to HP while Tailoring gives bonuses to DEX. Also, each time he achieves a certain level of mastery in each skill, he gets large bonuses to his stats. Such as when Intermediate Cooking gave him +5 to all his stats, +20% elemental resistances for two elements and an additional +10% resistance to 2 more. That's a lot of bonuses, especially when combined. By training all production classes, he'll end up with stats boosted so high that having combat class special bonuses wouldn't matter anymore. The more he masters production class abilities, the higher his Handicraft Mastery increases.Handicraft Mastery allows him to level up faster in other production class skills while also giving a boost to his sword combat abilities.

 

Additionally, Engraving Knife Technique seems to bypass armor and other sculpting skills are just hilariously overpowered. His class gets exclusive sword techniques that are pretty powerful, and can destroy their own works to gain unreal boosts in stats (temporary stat multipliers past x4). And even if you were to fight a LMS, he'd just show up to battle with dozens of gigantic, overpowered high level sculpture monsters. Not to mention the ability to create natural disasters, elementals, and shape shift. Shape shifting wouldn't even be that over powered, but he can learn and use racial/class exclusive skills from other races/classes while shape shifted, which is how he can use his necromancer abilities.

 

His originally support oriented skills make his own class become a monster at combat. Fighting alone, an LMS can go against an entire guild single handedly due to summons and shape shifting, along with it's exclusive sword techniques and boosted stats.

TL;DR: The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor class is objectively the strongest class.

all i'll just put this here since i feel like it. weeds class sucks. at least for what he needs. true it gets a lot of crazy and powerful skills but it's still just a production class. if it wasn't for the author being able to do whatever they want with the story, weed wouldn't be able to do even half the things he did. it other words, it's a class that only works because it's weed. if it was anybody else they'd be weak and poor as hell.

 

i know some people will disagree with me. that's fine but take a step back from your crush on weed and look objectively at his class. gets no bonuses to combat, low defense, low attack, can't learn high grade combat skills unless specially adapted to his class, gets no bonuses to weapons and armors. it is a class not meant for combat, how in the world the emperor managed to get so strong with it is something only the author knows. now the class can max all production classes to master (sculpting, smithing, taloring, cooking, fishing, ect) and gets +30% stats at night (even though it specifically says under moonlight, it works in all dark zones (aka enclosed dungeons, nighttime, dark forests, ect.)), and can give life to sculptures, and even use sculptures to shapshift. the class is still at best a support class, not the close-combat class weed uses it as.

 

anyways thats my rant on weeds class.

The 4th chapter is really wrong in several ways! I'm starting to wonder if they read the novel before drawing the chapter, because is totally different!

First thing, the dark elf race is still locked, it will be available together with the orc race after weed fight against the lich Shire, so why in this 4th chapter we see a user/player with the dark elf race? And the bet with pluto or the fact that is possible to level up the stats training at the training center, is totally wrong, weed never talked to another player before meeting seoyoon at the instructor house, so it's impossibile for him to make a bet with another user, and he never receved bread from someone, he already had 10 pieces as a new player equip! In this chapter the fact about training stats seems like is known knowledge, while in truth is a well hidden rumor, as it is explained from a player in the LN! About the instructor and his food, it wasn't weed that asked to eat together but the instructor, because after 3 weeks he saw that weed was starving after he used up all his bread, and he liked him, in fact he even took weed at his home (there weed learn the cooking skill and met seoyoon for the first time and talk to her, even if she just nodded to him, it was still the first time weed talked to a player instead of a npc)! And about the smartphone/cellphone, weed didn't have one before entering college together with his sister! So it'll be still 2 years of game time for him to get one!

However, you did bring up the differences in the webtoon. I wont deny that the artist have taken liberal considerations for what has happened like the phone. But you need to remember how this is an adaptation from the novel.  Not every adaptations follows faithfully to the novel and does it to make it more interesting b/c  you can't convey everything from the novel.  As long as the webtoon illustrate Weed's personality and follow pretty decently with the events with the novel, I'm fine with it the result.

The webtoon so far is doing a great job in comparison to other adaptions of novels and I hope it continues like that.

fun fact: in the LN people call each other with a -nim suffix. 

It's one that defers respect, like the japanese -sama.

The light novel is an excellent read. I got addicted to it to the point that I endured the mind numbing torture of reading machine translated volumes.

whatever your physical health is (aside from your brain) has no impact on the game. a super fit body builder will be just a weak as a 500kg fat slob NEET who can't even get out of his chair. everything in the game is mental. other than brain based abilities like reaction speed, kinetic vision, calculating speed, ect, no physical advantages will carry over into the game. stats are the only thing that determine how strong or weak you are in the game. a skinny pencil looking girl will be just as strong at a giant of a man bulging with muscles if they have the same strength. you also don't get any extra starting stats no matter how much you buff up your avatar design. everyone starts with the same stats (as the same race. although the author never showed any race but humans starting stats, which are 10 in everything with 100 hp/mp.)

Having more muscle doesn't affect the game at all.  The only thing that changed was his physical appearance, which only showed in game because he CHOSE to use his original appearance.  The skinniest, most drug abusing, emo-looking albino could look like a buff Australian surfer if he wanted to in game.  Lee Hyun just didn't want to waste the time with character creation so he chose to look like himself.
