Oh my. I was under the impression that this translation was only marginally-bad, perhaps being the consequence of a new project running under a newly-formed and incompetent team. But, oh, no... this is bad. I can't append "very" or "major" or "sadly" or "pathetically" bad. Neither can I replace the word with "awful" or "humiliating" or "farcical". Not even saying, "If someone from my field produced something equivalent, I would feel the immediate and self-immobilizing urge to self-terminate," -- no, not even that really works, for a non-English speaker might not fully understand the sentence's implied messages and layers, frames of thought nested in other frames, and these all filled-in with the experiential knowledge an English speaker, native or otherwise, gradually learns and incorporates into their existence. Truly, the universal word, machine-translatable to other words equally universal in meaning, is required so that every man, woman, child and alien can observe and fully understand my meaning.

The official translation is just bad.

It's not even English.

Oh well. I get to improve my Spanish.

(I still want The Company's photoshopped images with edited special effects! You people have some of the best special-effects-translating stuff out there! Indeed, couldn't you say, since you edited all Korean out of the manga and replaced it with fucking awesome translated special effects, that this is not "Tower of God", but, rather, The Company's original work? Yes, you should try that! Please! I'm so lazy about learning new languages! Don't do this to us lazy people!!!)

wow the naver/line translations are awful. easily the worst i have ever read from an OFFICIAL source, and so poor that i wouldn't even tolerate it from a fan scanlation. grammar and spelling mistakes galore, but that's not even the worst part - the completely unnatural and ESL-level english makes this thing a chore to read. hopefully mangacow takes that into consideration and won't drop this series after all.

Well crap. You know, I wouldn't mind going to Naver if they had a functional website (they don't) and good translations (they don't). Right now, none of the comics on that site even show up for me and when they do, they are tiny images made for mobile.  The translations read like they done by someone in a hurry. 

 

Id even pay a bit for premium access if it was required but this is just a terrible turn.  Naver should get their own act together before making themselves the only game in town. This is just a dick move.

Well we had to remove 128 series all at once, so we did it with some code, and it looks like that code replaced some of the descriptions with the notice instead of appending it for some reason.

Ah that is a slight problem, well at least the links are back. Someone needs to come up with a description though.

Emm, bueno, está submanga, pero la calidad de las imágenes pésima, una mierda. Después, podrías descargar en la página de Hellstone (aunque de ese no estoy muy seguro si mantienen el formato original).

Por último, El eterno aspirante. En su página tienen todos los capítulos sin necesidad de cargar yaaaay xD. Pero éstos suelen sacar los caps dos días después.

Yo me rindo. Leeré los caps en inglés, no puedo esperar dos días ni de broma.

Jaaja, gracias amigo. Lo leeré en el eterno aspirante ya que lo que estoy haciendo es releerlo de nuevo ya que hoy mismo sale el nuevo cap. Yo, los nuevos caps, los leeré en inglés i después en español ya que es una buena forma de mejorar mi inglés. Gracias.

Do you know if they will continue translating, or will they stop now?

I mean, mngacow was good because they released same-day. Girls of the Wild's has been released same-day by LINE, which I'd think is a pretty good indication that LINE will release TOG same-day (especially considering that they translated the entire TOG series thus far).

To answer your question directly, mngacow has said that they don't want to do redundant work (translating something that's already been translated) but they have yet to officially decide whether or not to drop TOG. I would assume it has to do with how quick the newest ep is posted, but I'm not that privy to their decision-making process.

Only the staff probably knows but since Noblesse is already dropped its likely that he will drop TOG as well.

that is much better.... the auto resizing to the size of the browser was annoying as hell.   thanks for the site.   and thanks again to the company, always going above and beyond

just shrink your browser to about 1/2 screen, works for me, sadly the quality sucks compared to what the company did, and i don't like how the names are being written out in the official translations.

Now Tower of God is naked . damn you Naver.

There are only english and korean official traslation, but not in other languages.
