i remember at one point in the story marin lost his hand... how come it's all good and grown back now? is this freezing? :/

it wasn't Marin, it was Crow who lost it in a fight against Yumin. He's the assassin from the White Dragon Clan and former bodyguard of Yumin.

Two completely different character without any similarity (hair/style/weapon/origin/etc...)

And he had a fake hand the last time we saw him

I honestly don't believe Tae-soo has earnestly betrayed Ken. From everything I've read so far, Tae-soo loves Ken (non-homo kind of way). I think there's a deeper meaning as to why Tae-soo wants to cut Ken off and lead the Sun-ken group himself. Perhaps of the White Dragon Clan, I'm not sure...

Just a hypothesis.

Media. He's keeping Ken away from the media to protect him. Ken obviously wouldnt agree to this, so Tae-Soo has to do it the hard way. I feel like this is the most likely story.

Whoa, Marin really looks dead inside. Either he suddenly became a great actor, or the excrements really hit the rotary air-redistribution device.

To be honest this foreshadow was prior to the Yumin part (as in they went more into it but had to bring Yumin in because of the unavoidable conflict with WD). I believe they will get to that part either during this arc or after it. After all Yumin is facing her own troubles.

What troubles?  WD already sent a hit squad to take them out and you would think Yumin would seek refuge with Ken, but no.....She disappear for the face of the Earth because the author can't write of story of Yumin and Ken reconciling, I guess he wants to skip the romance and focus on fillers and bull shyt random characters appearing.

A theory is that Tae-Soo wants to leave Ken out of the War with the White Dragon Clan so that Ken will not die in the War.

but that chapter truly is the pinnacle of manliness

That is basically where they split paths, at least outwardly. You could argue that Tae Soo had always planned on overthrowing Ken once the gang was built up to be more powerful. That bitch should have died when Ban Phuong kicked his ass.

Who cares about what Tae-Soo intends? I'm more interested in how Ken deals with this. Putting aside the thought that perhaps Ken is already aware of Tae-Soo's plans, whatever they may be, what exactly Ken will now do is what I'm really looking forward to seeing. That scene with the missing Bentley looked like a hint of how he will act from now on.

What if I were to tell you...it's all Tae-so's ploy for the gang's sake?

I don't have any evidence and I'm going on a suspicion, but if you look at Marin crying for Ken's sake, it seems like they really aren't after Ken, or shouldn't be.    Especially given that this is sudden, with only some foreshadowing that Tae-So was doing the dirty work as the de facto boss of operations, since Ken wasn't involved with the planning at all.

Also, Tae-so is very connected and his actions are great for taking attention away from Ken, especially with the journalist trying to get dirt on their organization.

The way I see this is that Tae-so is setting himself up as the leader of the Sun-ken rock group to draw attention away from Ken and even possibly use himself as bait/a fall-man for when the White Dragon clan attacks or business dealings go south.

 

My reasoning for this all comes from two events. First is the fact that Ken stated that he isn't worried in this chapter; which for me means that he's figured out what Tae-so is trying to pull with his current actions. Ken has shown that he can read the intentions behind Tae-so's actions pretty well as shown when he confronted Tae-so about the casino incident. Ken had basically figured out Tae-so was the puppet master behind the whole incident only a few chapters after it all began.

 

Reason number two is as simple as just trusting the character. Tae-so always seemed willing to push Ken to extremes and even go against him every now and again fr the betterment of not only the group but Ken himself. And while Tae-so is a flawed character I'll still take his vow to follow under Ken seriously.

 Nice that you agree; I started my post before I saw that you mentioned the possibility and am glad to see the support for your claim.
