Just uploaded my own version of chapter 1, because the original translation by lively scans was hot garbage.

Chapter 178: looks like the author made a bit of a geography fail.

The transfer student says "I was actually living in Wimbledon. London itself isn't very safe."
But Wimbledon is in London. If I remember my history classes right, Wimbledon used to be part of Surrey (a county) but became part of Greater London sometime in the 60s. Maybe the author didn't have the internet that day, and only had mid 20th Century reference books to hand?!
As for the "London itself isn't very safe" comment, the kind of rich young master whose family can afford to send him overseas to study is hardly likely to go live in a run down, crime ridden part of the capital. As with any city, you get good and bad everywhere.
From personal experience, I've travelled around central and west London on the Tube, sometimes alone, around 10, 11PM without any problems.

What you should know is that, compared to Japan, no place is 'safe'. As someone who's witnessed firsthand how Japanese people react to their surroundings in Europe, I can tell you they're like fragile little birds. So based on their own experiences in Japan itself, London is far from safe. Only upper class cushy country club country would be considered safe. Now, I don't know much of anything about Wimbledon as a place, but I imagine that compared to the East End (which is probably the kind of place he's talking about when he says "London itself"), Wimbledon is a safer place to live.
