Description: Yukishiro Nanako is a cute, cheerful high school girl with one peculiar trait – instead of verbal communication, she writes senryu (a type of haiku) poems to relay her thoughts. Together with ex-delinquent Busujima Eiji, they are budding freshmen of the school’s Literature Club.

Even though Nanako doesn’t talk, with the power of senryu, the adorable pair has no problem enjoying their fun school-life through the tune of 5-7-5 syllables.

A little thicc has never hurt anyone, Eiji.

I'm not doing these haiku things as I'm terrible at it. Sorry, comments section.

I really want to

Do many disturbing things to Pres

That she'd laugh at

Her stomach he is
To touch, she had a diet
But it's soft, still fat?

She worked on her abs

Feel the fruits of her labor

But don't feel too long!

Club Prez would be fine

His older sister also

But genre changes.

Inconsiderate

Or is it actually

That he cares for her?

Spoiler

Lewd...
Also, that 'One Month Later' threw me off. I thought their relationship progressed at light-speed to the point where Nanako is pregnant with Eiji's child and wanted him to 'feel' it.

Two girls have the lust
For the sweet Nanako-chan
Yuri is fine too.

All the senpais have

Pretty wide coverage

For Nanako's sake

Not sure if error
In third to the last panel
Of the seventh page.

This sweet and cute tale

Went super lewd pretty fast

Stil cute, I approve

Nanako is best

Koto is also the best

Prez is also best

Nanako's cuteness
Slowly begins to convert
Her friends to lesbians

meraki scans

such great taste in vanilla

instantly followed

The poetry draws

Couple together in life

Their future is now

Nanako is cute

Cute cute cute cute cute cute cute

Eiji is cute too

What is the difference between Haiku and Senryu? Can anyone help

Haiku, as in the actual art form used by the Japanese, has more rules. For example, a real Haiku will include a "kigo" or "seasonal word" that places the poem in a specific season, like "snow" being used to place it in winter. There are other rules, too.

Senryu poems seem to just follow the syllable count rule, according to this manga.

What is the difference between Haiku and Senryu? Can anyone help

I did not expect

This manga to make me cry

These tears of laughter

I read the comments

And found that it's in Senryu

More tears of laughter

I tried hard to make

My comment follow the rule

Laughing will not stop

Where did the parfait go?

Actually where did it come from?

Isn't this the school cafeteria?

i still have

no idea how

this works

That looks delicious

This chapter is delicious

Nanako, me too

Brings joy to my weary heart

Keep it up you guys!

As they are eating
Spicy and hot food, my cold
Heart grows warm and sweet

But when Ice Cream is
Given, with a spice of Love,
My face gets all hot

Yet he eats it not
For the embarrassment is
Much, maybe next time.

A dish of cuteness

with the spice of pure, young love

Healthy for the heart
