As someone who has tried some dating sites, the women who remains for a long time on them are more bound to have some of these problems yet they generally blame men for not meeting their standards. Generally women find a partner very quickly and doesn't spend much time around, less they do surveys, so yes, I really doubt if we can take that percentage seriously.

Also there are a lot more men on dating sites, of course they would be more selective. Not counting most of interactions stop on internet, so judging someone from some chats you had online is even less reliable.

天ぷら should be "Tenpura", but it's pronounced "Tempura" in English.

umm not quite mistaken. It's really due the "n" undergoing assimilation with the "m" sound coz sempai rolls off the tongue better than senpai. So certain words like Tempura and Shimbashi get transliterated into english with m instead of n coz it's closer to how it is pronounced. Rules for the shift are mentioned in your link actually.
