It just makes me wonder. Considering the age of the child and the fact that in chapter 31 of the main story, Takagi said it has been 10 years when looking at the middle school photo, then that means that Nishikata and Takagi got married right out of highschool and didn't go to college.

If I am not mistaken then the age group in middle school is 12-15 years depending on what year they are in. So she would be 22-25. Due to child birth and maternity Takagi would likely not have been attending any education afterwards but Nishikata could have I suppose. Although that would leave the question of income if they didn't start working immediately after getting hitched.

The kid is maybe 4 or 5 years old? (acts a bit younger than Yotsuba?) So yeah they probably got married right after high school and got pregnant shortly after.

Every one of those chapters is her using teasing or trickery to get him to spend time, look-at and think about her. She was already won over from the start. Why would that change once they're together? Just a different kind of teasing for what she wanted next.
