because the next batch is not ready.
wait until Spring of 2017 to get more of this particular roll, pls :'D
The ring staying on her finger is kind of sad. She loves her late husband very much and I can understand why she's looking after Yamato.
After all, what married woman doesn't want to be a mother eventually?
When you look at any relationship with cynical eyes, it's always someone using someone for something, and the other person also using the other for something else.
Why not...she wants to feel useful, while he wants to feel familial warmth?
She's coping with her loneliness by taking care of his needs. She's filling the void her late husband left with that boy.
The whole chapter 4 is about her searching for a point in her daily life. She finally falls asleep when she's able to feed him.
It's kinda sad.
Yeah, still that Maison Ikkoku vibe, without the annoying neighbors.
This is cute and all, but so far the story seems very dysfunctional and exploitative.
She's using him as a outlet for her dependencies.
He's just using her as a free meal service.
She's confusing "fat" with "thick".
Christmas Cakes are the best.
I don't know man, the discussion below seems pretty intense...
But yeah this manga is on my read-whenever-I-see-a-release now, so cozy and cute
Why do pure cinnamon rolls have to end so fast.
The translation for this series is now completed, up to chapter 14.5 from Volume 2. If you are impatient and want to read raw translations early you can find them here
Archive link in case you find this 8 days from now.
Such a nice discussion you have here, guys. I'm proud.
While I agree that "cuckold" has nothing to do with NTR (and that it shouldn't be in the definition), I don't agree that for NTR to take place, the two involved people must already be in a relationship.
From my understanding, in an NTR setting, the protagonist just has to be in love with the other party, which they witness as being "taken away" (can mean having consensual sex, being raped, or just dating).
But in the context of an eroge, I suppose sex is mandatory (that's the whole point of this type of game).
Can't say that a beta-kun losing a girl way out of his league, usually mostly because of his own beta-ness and nothing else, makes me feel jealous.
Feels more like... justice.
Why does everyone using urban dictionary to source the meaning of netorare complete gloss over this bit? A cuckold refers to the husband of an adulterous wife or a porn genre in which the male can also be a willing participant in their partners' infidelity as they are sexually aroused by it.
By definition of cuckold and netorare BOTH individuals have to already be in a relationship. If they aren't dating or married it is just some guy getting salty someone sniped the girl he liked before he got off his lazy ass to do so himself.
Such a cozy manga
But Godai and Kyoko are not in a relationship until the end. So this couldn't be labeled as cheating/infidelity/adultery.
Anyway, as we are not working from the same definition, I guess we can't really agree.
You're using the word in too much of a broadstroking way. Just because Godai might feel betrayed/sad that he saw this even occur doesn't mean NTR. Otherwise cheating/infidelity/adultery tags wouldn't exist because everything would just be labeled NTR.
You say that, but NTR was created specifically for being taken away via sex to the point where they don't care about the one they were stolen from.
Again, you are using the term in a very narrow context.
To take the definition of Urban Dictionary (which is as good as any) :
"Japanese acronym for Netorare, used to define a genre of Eroge (Hentai Game), meaning "Cuckold". In short, the main protagonist's loved one(s) are taken or seduced away from him and the heroine might be willing or unwilling. This is to cause an emotion of deep jealousy on the reader."
Sex is not mandatory.
I stand by my idea that Mitaka tries, or even sometimes appears to NTR Godai. I never said he actually does.
For example, there's a scene where Mitaka faints (because of a dog) on top of Kyoko, just as Godai opens the door and witnesses it. He misunderstands it as them making out. It's a typical scene of NTR : Goday almost breaks down. In a true NTR, they would have been having sex I suppose.
And there's more.
There's a reverse scene with Godai and Akemi coming out from a Love Hotel and Kozue witnesses it, so she decides to give up on Godai and accepts the proposal of a co-worker.
Or the scene where Kozue thinks that Godai proposed to her and says it in front of Kyoko, causing Kyoko to run away from the house.
These are all misunderstandings, so not really NTR, but the result is the same : it instills anger and frustration on the reader.
No, you're not. Do you even know what NTR is? It's specifically when a loved one is taken away from you via sex to the point where they don't care about you anymore.
So again, you are just using the term liberally without proper application. Many tend to do that.
Wrong bear apron, pal.
And people don't read the posts too often, juming to conclusion and looking down on other people for no good reasons.
I wrote "TRY" to NTR him. Godai is the MC, along with Kyoko, so it fits the definition.
Mitaka certainly tried very underhanded tactics in order to corner Kyoko into marrying him. Like organizing an omiai without her consent by tricking her into coming with her parents and meet his parents. I don't remember exactly, but he comes pretty close to be really manipulative.
Had he succeeded, it would have been NTR.
IE, I'm right.
Probably money from life insurance. She says she has a monthly budget and obviously her expenses have increased considering since she started feeding Yamato, but hey, you do things for the ones you are clearly falling for.
