I want a manga dedicated to the section chief's shenanigans.
At least let me be happy reading manga without reminding me how f@#ked up our world has gotten
The section chief is amazing >,<
Can we get a spin off about him?
If only he were a real being - we could have him counter the damage that combover Satan in the White House causes on a daily basis.
Section Chief is pretty much combover Buddha.
They said that they are gonna make "Chihaya-san's fine that way" their new daily release. I don't think that they are gonna start a pick up some other series to replace this one and I'm happy about that. Instead of overloading themselves with new series and "drop but not really" older series they finish what they started and that is deserving of my respect (and money if I wasn't on budget and lazy)
I never noticed how weird that teacher's eyebrows were.
Strong lineup too.
if there's still any doubt on who is the strongest scanlation group atm...
70 chapters, almost daily releases
my only selfish wish would be for some abandoned series to be picked up by these monsters
we are not worthy
Chapter 71 - People run in circles;
Chapter 72 - Section chief fixes all relationships; everybody is happy.
[THE END]
Now this is true terror.
It wasn't given that much time compared to the main plot and it was sort of resolved nicely. But lil' bro Kouji had his own loss in a way with his ex gf which really resonated with me, letting a person wait for you while you get your act together, splitting and then finding out they moved on it's really heavy. And it was done great in a series where I never expected this to be touched more than just for laughs, and even then it was done never crossing the line into super serious or just plain wacky just life happening.
This comic, unlike others, remembers you need new material to stay funny. Why would anyone criticize it for that.
While it doesn't contribute to the plot, it contributes to three interrelated themes: pretty much everyone is a decent person, no matter how they might seem, and they all have their own issues. This is all in support of the main theme of the father, which is moving forward after a loss. No matter what, it's important to remember that experiencing such a loss isn't a sign that everything is wrong, even when it feels like that's the case. Peeking into side characters lives reminds us that the genuinely good world keeps turning.
For anyone who feels like the sad moments are unwarranted or unreasonable in a 4-koma, remember the sole instigator of the plot: her mom, his wife, and his childhood friend died in an accident. It's slice of life so they should deal with it during the story. I'm going to spoiler this so it doesn't get too long:
Shits getting real now. I also look forward to seeing the new sensei's relationship blossom.
Sufferings await...
There will be no more daily releases until the next volume comes out in summer 2018. So, only 2 chapters left.
I ship Terry and Twintail.
