Author prob didnt want to do another school sports manga, rather focuses on the pro part.
A 3 year timeskip already?
Is this manga getting axed or something?
I don't know a lot about Golf, and I know the people are unrealistically good at the game (although considering the author, that's to be expected), but I'm really enjoying this series.
"He takes stupid risky shots and he makes it". That's some dumb shit
Robot's hair is red because he's haafu and his mom's
a soulless gingerScottish. The Skittles' hair were rainbow-colored because lulz.I mean, there's no rxl anime yet, either....
EDIT: I mistook the question so never mind.
EDIT2: also, I hope the pacing smooths out soon. KnB was also pretty bumpy towards the beginning. Anyway, exactly why is playing that giant rookie supposed to entice Karasuma specifically? (lol, he might appreciate not having to deal with Suzaku, though.) Not that it mattered since the adviser wasn't going to turn down the opportunity to play such a highly-ranked team, apparently, but.... Conclusion: Suzaku's a weirdo.
This manga's okay. Kind of surprised it's polling as low as it is.
I think they're playing what's called a best-shot. People play in teams of two. Each player hits the tee-shot, then they pick the best shot and each player hits from there, then they pick the best 2nd shot, then repeat through the hole. Only one set of shots count toward the score.
So for example, Robot and his teammate each hit a tee-shot. They'll take Robot's because its closer to the hole and in the fairway. That counts as one stroke ("laying one" in golf lingo). Robot and the teammate will hit from there. If teammate has the best shot, they'll use his- if Robot's is best they'll use his. That will be their 2nd stroke (laying two).
Hope that helps. And a 59? GTFO no way.
I don't understand the game. Is robot merely one group with his club mate, or is he playing the game like the previous one with the thugs?
It always cracks me up when they're like "HOLY CRAP HE'S 6' 6" IS HE EVEN HUMAN?"
Ah
The return of stupidly large teens
It's a good series so far, but a lot of the character designs are pretty same-y. This most recent chapter, 14, had an occurrence where the characters from the team we're supposed to support are all lined up together; it was honestly difficult to tell who was who between some of the pairs, with the eyes being them main indicator for me.
that golf ball look like it bout to hit his head
I'm surprised someone in the manga actually addressed people's anime hair color.
Did anyone in Kuroko No Basket ever say anything about Kuroko's blue hair?
Dark skinned manager. Nice.
You're one egoistic man. Individual sport doesn't mean you can be an ass to anyone inferior to you ya know?
Plus, the thing with "getting accepted" is merely because of the CLUB. It's imperative that you maintain a good relationship with your clubmates.
OK, I have to say that I sort of dislike where this is going with the other members. Although its very shounen jump to worry about camaraderie and teamwork, that's not golf at all. One of my favorite things about golf was that its an individual sport and I could basically go "FU my score is lower, so what if you're a senior"
Hotblooded golf manga is the best.
And here it goes, Akashi Seijuro makes a cameo in this manga..
I used to see them regularly
236D
the MC looks like saitama with wig and glasses...
Nah, these hoodlums are not not even close to be worthy of licking boots of the manliest yakuza in gaming.
I'm going to be sorely disappointed if golf doesn't start killing off the dinosaurs.
