Description: | Enter Misaki, perhaps the most innocent and most sincere young lady there ever was. It’s almost inconceivable that she could be a vampire. And with her powers as a vampire, she could easily entice any human to do her bidding... but she chooses not to. Especially when it comes to Kuroe, a young author who has a deep running past with vampires. This wonderful story of pure innocent love charmingly bonds Misaki to the readers. She’ll absolutely delight you with her earnest love for a human and her resolve to protect a willing mutual relationship versus turning Kuroe. ============Notice================ Unfortunately the comic (or parts of it) was scanlated by groups that don't allow rehosting. Sad.
Are we finally back to Misaki?
Generally the side chapters , that are the "slice of life" part are more enjoyable but they are such because of the "main story-line" part for the contrast. Without it , it would be too annoying how slowly their relationship is progressing.
He's really gonna jump once he finds out he was kissed by a dude.
These two chapters are much more interesting than the actual storyline.
I liked the long hair, it looked like Takeshi Obata/Death Note style
Thanks for the new chapter and your hard work on it !
It was a quiet one after the last eventful arc and I loved it.
Sorry for the late reply :s, I live in Belgium.
Was the hairdesser in any other chapters? I dont remember her, but the way she was introduced felt like she was a returning character...
No, the current state of the manga is deplorable and that's first and foremost among my concerns. That being said though, I think, putting the most recent arc aside, this is a really sweet, lovely manga, and I'd hate to see people pass up on it because it was represented as something it's not.
Whats with all the homosexuality?
You're very welcome! I love Blood Alone's approach with its subtle vampire romance, although it's not getting as much love as before, due to its inactivity.
Where do you live, if I may ask?
Thanks you very much for your passionate work on this amazing story !
I would like to help you, but I my self have some money issue.
Anyway, I'm very grateful for the fact that you share your work with us and I support you (spiritually) from my distant country.
A great fan
The Arthurian legend arc has finally finished, and I have v2'd the majority of chapters in the arc to reflect any inaccuracies that I found.
If you were confused with the arc, I highly suggest re-reading it from the beginning. I'm unable to upload the v2 versions onto Batoto, so you'll have to visit our site instead.
You sound more disappointed in the tags than you do the current state of the manga.
It's been forever since I've read this manga, so I came and checked up on it only to find the clusterfuck that is episode 39. I'm so confused; it's all over the place. What happened to that sweet slice-of-lifey vampire girl story I enjoyed so much? What do the knights of the round table and king Arthur have to do with vampires? Why are people having serious conversations while having sex?
Also, I'm not sure the smut tag applies since there have only been a couple of sex scenes, although I'll be the first to say they were random, unnecessary, and frankly very uncomfortable to read. I don't think they're pervasive enough though to really put it in the tags. There's far more martial arts in this manga than there are sex scenes, but that's not in the tags. While it's something that's in there, it's not a defining feature of the manga. If something is tagged as smut, I assume that it's probably if not the central element, at least a pretty predominant one and I pass on reading it. It feels a bit unfair to add that to the tags just because the author appears to have lost his mind in the most recent arc, since the rest of the manga isn't smutty at all.
One of the few instances where I'd actually welcome an editor to leash the author. Seriously, wtf happened to this manga!?
this plot is getting really funky
The whole magazine that publishes this was the one that got axed, as far as I remember. That said, the story became extra convoluted, and confusing, and generally, it went in a direction I don't really like after the author continued the series as a doujinshi.
What a mess. This manga's plot was always very ......fragmented. And still, I liked it. I did.
This really doesn't work as a battle manga. Really, I just want to know the backstory of Misaki's parents and Kuroe's sister's kidnapper. The rest of the vampire world is pretty unnecessary. Its a shame because Blood Alone has been a favorite of mine for a long time.
I can see why this got axed.
The art in the latest chapters seem to have gotten a lot worse compared to the early chapters.
