I am kinda wondering why the hell does it take so long for this manga to come out? I mean its only around 20 pages and yet it takes them about a month per chapter....

agreed,but it seems its the norm now,every manga i find these days that i like no matter how small(on page quantity) are always monthly....i find it weird

Maybe because they don't have assistants? or if they do have them, maybe they're not enough to do more pages than the ones they do now? Plus, almost all of the mangakas doing LN adaptations are rookies or at least they aren't renowned artists with lots of experience.
Also, you have to admit that, in this case, the art quality isn't bad so I can say that the artist is doing his best... I'm not a pro-artist, but I know that when I want to do something properly it requires some more time...

TL;DR: not all the mangakas have enough incomes to hire assistants, so don't mind it, just enjoy it and be grateful that you're at least able to read 20 or so pages of an enjoyable story/art every month

Most manga artists and authors seem to be able to finish their chapter in 2-2,5 weeks and main stream mangakas like those of bleach and naruto even do it in a week(both average around 20 pages). And this is even based on a novel meaning that it shouldn't be that hard to pen down the story. Let me be clear that this criticism is not directed to the scanlation group underdogs but to the author, artist and publisher of this manga .

This is just a guess, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it's mandated by the publishers of the novels to ensure the manga never outpaces the novels or even competes with the most recent, say ... two or three novels.

I like how she presented the feather as something special but is surrounded by feathers flying around. Is she molting or something?

Ok, if this is a great ecchi manga then To Love Ru is a great battle manga... It has got a little bit of fanservice but I don't think that's the main reason to read this story nor the path this is heading to...

Indeed a short for a monthly released, I still haven't pick on LN but probably will do it soon cause this seem like a great light novel / manga.
