the whole dynamic is that when tanjiro is in deep shit, his sister saves him (almost everytime). And when Nezuko is in deep shit, her brother saves him. If you read the whole manga from the start, it's been like that from the start. both of them can't be "cool" without one of them saving the other. Heck, the group can't be cool at all without someone else coming to save them.
The recent chapters highlight this back and forth relationship. Tanjiro awaken a new power, instantly got into trouble. Nezuko came to help. Nezuko awaken a new power, instantly got into trouble. Tanjiro'll came to help.
but i do hope the girl gets more screen-time and that she'll actually be a part the groups dynamic, rather than being a deus ex machina (or in this case a diabolus ex machina).
To be fair she never speaks because she's usually gagged...
Er, yeah, because that's the word they use. They could talk about "stopping" her instead of "saving" her and it wouldn't make it seem like Tanjiro has such a chronic big brother hero complex.
She's the one who's constantly saving Tanjirou from danger
Is it really saving her when it is an attempt to prevent her from becoming a full demon then probably get cut down by the pillars in the future? Nezuko is at a point where she's fueled by her instinct than intelligence. I kinda hope this new shift in power allow her to gain more intelligence so that she can speak to her brother and the other characters than just being a combat trump card.

The oldest of his dead siblings looked a lot like Tanjirou, you can tell them appart by Takeo's mole under his right eye, and slightly different haircuts.
So far, the youngest sibling is the only one who hasn't appeared on his own to either Tanjirou or Nezuko.
