| Description: | We all know that a lot of the booty of the golden age of explorations made it into museums. The British Museum in the C.M.B. story, which had custody of the recondite scientific curiosities and artifacts collected by explorers and adventurers and stored in a Wunderkammer, decided to study the dusty arcana in the 19th century. Three investigators dubbed the "Magi" were appointed to do the research, each given a ring embossed with the letters C.M.B. Fast-forward to present-day Japan where Sakaki Shinra is the curator of a museum of oddities. He now has possession of the C.M.B. rings, indicating that he has been granted the status of guardian of knowledge like the Magi that preceded him. Similar to another Katou Motohiro-sensei hero —Q.E.D.'s Touma Sou — Shinra has a mysterious past, is multi-lingual (English, Latin, and five others), possesses college-level knowledge of chemistry, physics, biology, and history, and is deficient in social skills. How the blond 14-year-old (who also happens to be Touma's cousin) came to hold the rings, as well as why Shinra is the curator of a bizarre museum in Tokyo (the contents of which he loves to show off) are backstory mysteries I look forward to being solved. There really is no such thing as a spoiler in QED or CMB, since pretty much all the chapter arcs are individually separated.
Hmmm, but the judeas fortune ending is still missing. I had no way of telling that, as the chapters' individual numbering don't help if a story end chapter is omitted, as there is no way to tell without reading. Thanks to this, I accidentally read ahead, and don't want to continue lest I run into a spoiler of some sort, of ANY sort. I dislike spoilers, and as such am hesitant to continue till the ending appears. <:|
I actually like the kushino chapter for the same reason aizen hates it. It's these "experience stranger than fiction" stuff that pushed science along.

Sterilization before the concept microbiology even existed in the west (the scientist that did this was humiliated and ridiculed even after his death until science proved him right). Seeing beyond what the eye can see (radiation and xray). Etc.. etc.. etc... (if some of the journals can be trusted, it's as strange as kushino in their eyes)
Being a fan of mushishi doesn't help either I guess xD

I thought the arms peddler was already translated. It was one of the series i watned, but last time i checked it was up to speed.
EDIT: just checked, its up to speed, is it not? Vol 5 is the latest i believe.

There is an episode were they actually go AGAINST each other on the same case. Its quite interesting. But i cant remember if it was only on one of the two, or if it was in both the series.
I asked for a crossover I get a crossover, but I'm sad that they didn't do more coop together.
Instead of one person solving most of the mystery himself I was hoping for a mystery that couldn't be solved without both of them combining everything they know together.
Also those two girls are so in tune with each other it's like looking at a mirror. =D
