Well, duh. That was pretty clear ever since the first few chapters. 

I think it's his fault.  He discarded her protection and now he's paying the price.

Know you're trying to act manly and all but you can't exactly protect you GF on a roller coaster by holding hands. If something goes wrong your both screwed. 

Holding hands isn't meant to be protective in that case, but reassuring.  "You're not alone" "this death-trap of a contraption is actually quite safe" etc.

He's trying to put on a brave front basically, rather than provide physical protection.

Can't wait to see what kind of life-threatening attacks Su Han's ghost launches against Xi Yu, and also can't wait to see how Xiaoyou ends up saving the day and reconciles with Xi Yu. Just wish the chapters weren't so short...

The chapters in this series in particular always feel as though they're chopped in half. And that's saying something for a webtoon series.

Well if you check the original webtoon, the chapters are listed as Chapter 1 (part 1), chapter 1 (part 2) and so forth, the current chapter 9 is actually Chapter 5 part 1.  That could explain why you feel it's chopped in half because it really is. 

One of the things that's a bit sad is how a major cause of the rift between Lin and Yu is precisely that she hasn't changed and grown and perhaps, as a ghost, is incapable of doing so. That would make her hopes and dreams essentially unreachable. [tragedytag]

Plus also the boss would be reprimanded at a minimum for trying to use a female employee like that. I like a lot of things about Asian cultures, the way they treat workers is not one of them.

Having pretty female reps is also a thing in the west. Clients can also get rather grabby over here as well. That said that is rather more frowned upon over here as mentioned... There is also much less naked chauvinism. That can get rather uncomfortable in Japan and Korea. It's interesting contrasting the hang ups around women there with the ones that can be prevalent in places like Dubai.

And yeah, getting summarily dismissed like that without a hint of gross misconduct or prior warnings wouldn't fly over here (unless he was still in the probationary period).
