People keep in mind that since we knew the anime would go past this we released the first 5 chapters of the third arc so if you want to spoil yourselves go read that...

Don't forget to mention reading it AFTER watching episode 11 of the anime (that's within 2 weeks time)... if people still want to keep the flow of the story going.

You think so?  I think he's pretty resilient given he's a middle schooler in a completely alien world who keeps dying horribly, and at first rather unexpectedly.  From the safety of my armchair I like to think myself resilient, but you know, if this was me completely alone and dying in horrible manners I'd have probably freaked out a lot more.  Subaru on the other hand has actually reached the point where he's able to reset himself as needed, so that's a hell of an acceptance.

Her intention was for him to think she was a little crazy for bringing up satella's name without a second thought since it's basically the equivalent of satan, so he wouldn't get involved in the whole find the insignia deal and would leave her to it. Because she didn't want anyone figuring it out and possibly spreading the news making her seem unreliable, and because she felt it was not worth his time, since he showed to be really kind towards her.

To add to that... I think its mostly because the FMC's too kind for her own good, she doesn't want to rely or involve anyone into her predicament when finding the insignia (successor to the throne thing, though she clearly needs the help otherwise she would die in the 1st arc), so she borrowed the name 'Satella' to unsettle the MC and make him not want to be acquainted with her (as you mentioned it's a taboo name that everyone in that world knows) since her looks also resembles the 'Jealous Witch'. Referred in Ch.15, the MC's thoughts on 'a white lie'.

  Yes it sucks to die and yes he is in a different world and that's scary.  I agree also that its doing pretty good being able to use his abilities to advantage like he seems to be able to now.  All I am saying is that he does seem

to find it hard to remain stable sometimes more often then I would think possible.

  I have not been killed a lot like he has I know and I have not been stabbed often nor do I have no idea who it is doing these things to me which might be stressful.

  But after a time or two of this, putting myself in his shoes, I would like to think knowing that I have a reset, knowing decent people exist in the scary world I am in even if I have to work at recovering lost time, and all the learning I would get about the world would make my life a bit more endurable and manageable then say being in the dark all the time and never making friends (however fleeting) would be.

Why would you compare his situation to people of his age? (saying stuff like putting urself in his shoes while not actually knowing what it's like kind of defeats the purpose of what ur trying to prove)

For a highschool dropout /hikikomori (shut-in) I think he's been coping pretty well. Have you even been following the storyline? It tells you this in the first chapter (or better yet try rereading the prequel or watch the anime).

How else is he going find out otherwise? He doesn't convenient viewpoint of a third person omnipresent reader where author points out for him.

He died at least 7 or 8 times that I remember. Most people would've gotten PTSD after the first time they got stabbed in the gut or eviscerated.

There aren't any English translations. Nanodesu tried but got a C&D from Yen Press so they had to take the translations down. YP is doing the Light Novels but those only cover up to half of Arc 3 of the WN (out of 6 arcs) so far.

So basically, if you want to read the WN and you don't know Japanese, Chinese or Korean, well, tough luck dude.

I always have problems with these maids and their facial expressions.  I never really get what they're thinking, and worse I always get them mixed up with each other.
