This was a wonderful read. The story and the art was so beautiful, that even when reading this on an extremely hot day, I couldn't help but feel refreshed. You can almost feel the soothingness of the water, hear the flowing waterfall and pouring rain and strangely feel a sense of nostalgia towards the village even if we have never been there before.
An incredible story with fantastic artwork. I read the first half several years ago, not realizing it was only part of the story. I'm really glad I discovered it again and was able to read the whole thing. Thanks, scanlation team, for a great reading experience.
I'm speechless in portraying how great this manga artwork is. The artwork of nature and environment in this manga just... pull you inside. Gives you the feeling more than "it's beautiful", even more deeper... I don't think I've ever found a nature artwork in manga as enchanting as Waters.
Damn dams.
NSFW, unless you don't mind co-workers seeing you teary eyed.
This is one of those mangas that set the bar on what can be done in the medium in terms of narrative, mood and emotion.
Truly a work of art.
Truly beautiful in every aspect of the work.
Beautiful. Feel like I could describe every single part of the village. A village which no longer exists however continues to be discovered in the hearts of those who read this manga.
