I really want to refute the haters but this second chapter makes it hard.
-First chapter impression: a douchebag MC that abuses his powers like an evil teen on a power trip would likely do, so wrong yet refreshing.
-Second chapter: his slaves are in fact okay with being raped and actually desire him now, without appearing delusional, what? And now he's gonna go save one?

I knew that the Japanese youth have had pent up sexual frustration for some time, but this is the next level.

I´m all for indulging these fantasies, but by not going all the way (hentai), this will be judged as a normal manga. And by manga standards, this is quite utter ****.

 

And I know you guys, you all love the power trip, and is all boobs, rape and BJ galore here. But please, let´s not pretend this is "good" reading material by giving it a 5/5. Because the high rating certainly fooled me.

I think it's to actually make it actually 'enslaving' rather than 'mind control/brainwash', since especially in hentai there's distinct difference between the two and the WN interaction was closer to the latter.

Yeah, I prefer it this way instead. Seriously, I dislike how the webnovel's version outright overwrote their personalities, to the point they're blank slates..

Yeah, I think the Light Novel underwent a few changes. Remember, the manga always follows the Light Novel, not the web novel, so there were probably a few changes between the web and light novel.

 

A lot of what happened in this chapter did not happen in the web novel—or it's more accurate to say that it's like all of chapter 3 was completely replaced. I think the author decided to nerf the SlaveMancer ability a bit.

 

I think it's to actually make it actually 'enslaving' rather than 'mind control/brainwash', since especially in hentai there's distinct difference between the two and the WN interaction was closer to the latter.

For those who care, it's a bit darker in the novel

At least so far in the first 3 chapters, the slaves are closer to mind controlled doll-like state than this one.

 

And Kirika only retains self-awareness, she still follow his orders perfectly, although she has small change to throw in her feeling/opinion here n there.
