as fer smartphone, we should take into consideration the time author started this series, and the time artist did. smartphones at that time were not that common, whereas now, everyone has it.

I have a few comments. 1) I wish the artist could do a better job depicting weed as poor. 2) I really hope this webtoon doesn't spend as much time beating the "seonyeon is beautiful and mysterious" dead horse like the novel. 3) weed is too much of a pretty boy. He should have bags under the eyes and calluses on his hands.

True, there are some deviations, like the fact that he didn't have a smartphone at the time CTS media called him, but remember that the artist is in his/her full right to make some changes in the name of artistic freedom. The ammount of time spent on seonyeons mysterious beuty wil naturally be shortened since one picture says more than a thousand words. Regarding the third point I fully agree with you, you really get the impression in the LN that he is NOT that pretty, but then again as long as the artist is able to transmit the story in a good enough matter I will be satesfied.

Not disputing your knowledge of the original material but... I know a lot of poor people with smartphones. Seriously my job is to help unemployed and homeless people find work and you'd be surprised how many of them spend what little money they have on good phones.

you know, it's still being translated, it's amazing what you can find through google ;-) (I've currently read up to volume 22, chapter 5, chapter 6 is probably up in a couple of weeks)

Yeah, how the author draw and presented weed is the main problem,those who read the novel would understand it.

There are minor errors and things that I really dislike, for example It's not rushed, but it give the feel that it lacks the deepness of the novel and a proper prologue. 

The art is not bad, but I wanted a more coherent story...

Hmmm, now that I reread the first volume, I think the artist skipped over the intro too quickly, weed's continent of magic account scene, his relationship with his grandma and sister were kind of just brushed over.

You just can't set the mood without a good intro.

Also Weeds hair looks way too well groomed, and appearance too childish for a 23 year old men that has suffered through years of child labour abuse and poverty.

I pray that the artist would eventually get the message. Don't want to be that person who has his favourite novel ruined by a bad adaptation.

I wouldn't say that it's a bad adaptation yet, in fact, it seems they're staying pretty true to the novels so far. As for his appearance, which is entirely subjective for each individual reader, please keep in mind that Weed is not a beggar.
