People actually overestimate the animals abilities. Sure animals can percieve many more sounds tahn humans, but unlike what most people think, they can hear sounds of different frequencies, not different volumes, a dog won't hear you sneaking, cause you're trying to lower the volume of sounds you make, not the frequency of those sounds. A quiet sound is still a quiet sound be it for a dog or a human, this is the reason why you can still sneak and play a prank on your pet, otherwise this would be pretty much impossible. Also, animals would go deaf pretty fast on cities if they could hear sounds louder than they are Only a select few animals can actually hear quieter sounds as being louder than they are. Of course, sounds will still lose frequency as they travel though distances, which is why those sounds seem to disappear to us, but animals can still percieve them.

What I mean is, it is totally possible for Hiro to sneak around the palace and not be found, when he is only invisible.

So going straight to the point, becoming invisible can still be effective on animals and therefore for Beastmen as well
