well you do have to consider the fact that this is korean and lately SK has been taking a hammer to all sorts of violence and gore, trying to censore everything. so them kiddifying the webtoon isn't too surprising. as long as they don't alter the story too much i'm willing to just sit back and enjoy it.

i still find it funny that South Korea is surrounded by hostiles and yet they care more about violence in entertainment than they do about invasions from North korea and china. peace does funny things to people i guess.

What is up with all these online game manga/anime nowadays? I know a lot of manga/anime nerds are pretty hardcore MMO players so this serves as excellent wish-fulfillment material that they can identify with but man, too god damn many.

Dude,this novel is awesome ,that's why there are so many people on the comic hype train. Do yourself a favor and read it.

i'm not too picky but the fact that they skipped the bard part hurts. that was one of the first parts that describe just how frugal and penny pinching weed is. skipping it is like tossing out a plot element. other than that and the fact that the second quest is supposed to say that the guards will become hostile ONLY if he is caught looking for info, ch. 5 wasn't bad. well that and the downgrade of artwork here and there giving weed expressions that i wouldn't think he'd give. but a person can't be too picky. unless they can do a better job, which i can't.

I've read 11 volume of LN while waiting for updates ,
at least the art are good enough for re-read

I highly disagree. It's widespread knowledge in the game that crafting professions get bonuses to keep them viable in combat. His class specifically stated that he can learn all crafting professions up to an extremely high level. That alone would give anyone the clues they'd need to become OP. The class starts off with a rather powerful sword technique and a defense ignoring attack which is highly OP. 

 

While someone with his class might not have become as powerful as he did or as fast, they'd still become an unstoppable monster considering crafting class bonuses. That, and the quest that would lead them to Zahab once they're higher leveled to learn even more OP skills.

 

Also, a lot of his skills weren't hard to find. His class starts with the defense ignoring technique along with the ability to bring life to sculptures so long as he reaches advanced sculpture mastery.The clues to Sculptural shape shifting were handed to him by a random NPC shopkeeper. Zahab's general location was also clearly stated very early on.

 

Sure there's a lot that only Weed could accomplish, but many of his class exclusive abilities were handed to him in a nice package.

 

While Weed is great, the average user is so vastly underplayed for how smart they are or what they could do that it's a little silly. Any serious gamer would trade an arm and a leg to get his class due to its long term benefits.

it was stated that dark elf wasn't unlocked yet during a quest in the future. therefore it can't be a starting race. but yeah someone could have chosen a dark tonned elf type and darkened it further through customization.

He was no longer the manly instructor in the Training Hall. In his place was a vicious Orc exposing his greed for food on the table. An Orc at level two hundred, that was.

 

I think it might be more of a comparison than a literal description; that he acts like an Orc (who are know to be greedy) when it comes to his wife's cooking as opposed to being an actual Orc.

It was later stated that orc of level higher than 150 were unseen before in the game until the orcs that inhabited the plain of dispair If I remember right, with the mention of the instructor level, we reach the conclusion that it was indeed just a comparison.    Affair solved... next!

Okay, Ill try to limit spoilers since I can't remember how to set tags, but Weed didn't need to be LMS to have the skills he uses throughout the story. Most of the skills he got were due to hard grinding or quest rewards open to any Sculptor (and some other craft classes), added to that, the skill that keeps production classes viable in combat was craftsmanship/handycraft/manual dexterity which gave bonuses to damage and opened up other class' skills such as blacksmithing which itself allows the waiving of class restrictions on weapons and armor. Meaning that the sculptor or whatever could cancel out the negatives you mentioned. Still only someone like Weed can stack so many side bonuses that they make such an OP character.

so guys... anyone know the continuation for volume 22 and above??? i tried searching for it but nothing come out and only dead links. anyone who can help?? love u all!!

im just gonna put this out there. production classes are NOT COMBAT CLASSES. no matter how much it might seem like it, weed has said it a million times that his class is not fit for fighting. if it wasn't for weed's pre-game training, there is no way he would have made the class work. the author has said it tons of times how 90% of all players bard ray included, rely on levels and equipment and parties to grow. weed relied on his martial arts training to survive his class. please don't think the class is stronger than it actually is. it suffers all the same dissabilites that most production classes do. low health, low def, no combat bonus, (the 30% to stats in dark is a passive and not combat specific), no combat skills (the skill book he got with the class while powerful are expensive as hell, and he won't get anymore naturally.).

 

trust me, no battle lover would pick LMS class. even i wouldn't pick the class. true it can ultimately come out on top, but even at it's peak it could still be one-shotted because of low health.what good are an army of sculptures and nature sculptures of protection if a super sniper takes your head off.

for the average or even good player, hell maybe even expert gamers, the LMS class can only truely shine super late game. and not only that requires probably 10000x more grinding than any other class, since you have to work on all production skills, and giving life to sculptures constantly kills your level and art stat. all in all, i would settle for a common warrior and spend all that time the LMS dude used becoming super strong, getting amazing equipment, and mastering combat, and maxing skills to god level so that by the time the LMS dude appeared i could just chop his head off and kill shit tons of his living sculptures making him do it all ever again, sacrificing more levels to make more living sculptures.

 

again, the LMS class only works because it's weed. and while i'm happy the author made a non-standard class the star of the story, it doesn't change the fact that only select people could ever make the class work. even the scholar mage dude who gave weed the class said nobody since the the emperor could become the LMS.

It is the strongest class but like the guy said, it wouldn't work if it wasn't Weed.... Others would have gotten the class but I'm sure they would have just deleted their character or stayed to sculpting.... Finding the clues was already hard for him and I'm sure the others wouldn't come up with clues about the profession or find the other masters.... It's because it's Weed that he overcame the disadvantage in no bonuses from fighting
