I want to like this, I really do. But I remember how much I loved the first one. This one feels vapid compared to it.

I don't even know what's going on anymore, it feels like the author is being forced to continue this series by his editor/publisher and ended up going "let's see how much I can fuck up this manga before they cancel it"

You might be correct objectively speaking, but I personally still think the prequel were a lot milder.

Probably it's got to do with the art, or the balancing of sweet & serious moments and the hilarity + ecchi.

I don't know and I'm certainly not dedicated enough to do a thorough analysis about it.

 

But yeah, I stand my ground. Still think that the prequel contains much less vulgarity.

Misaki was always a complete bitch. I know it's easy to overlook because this is largely a comedy manga, but she tried to drug and rape him several times. She also tried to intimidate Mizuno and the sister of the other sibling pair, she just failed most of the time.

 

Honestly, the series was always pretty sexual in nature. I think most people just don't remember it because, since it's the bulk of the series, it's forgettable compared to the few instances where the series gets really cute and emotional. It's definitely more overtly so in this new series but a lot of people are making it out as if the series used to be a ton milder when, really, it wasn't.
