Description: Tada Banri, a newly admitted student at a private law school in Tokyo, found himself completely lost after the opening ceremony, trying to find his way to the freshman orientation. At that moment, he ran into another lost freshman from the same school, Yanagisawa Mitsuo, and they hit it off at once. Somehow arriving at their intended goal just on time, there appeared in front of the two a beautiful girl holding a bouquet of roses. The girl then whacked Mitsuo across the face with the bouquet and handed the flowers over to him. “Freshman, congratulations”, was all she said, and then she left. The stylish, well dressed, perfect woman that had swung at Mitsuo was his childhood friend, Kaga Kouko. As children they had promised to marry each other one day, fulfilling their dreams. In order to escape from her, Mitsuo had gone out secretly and taken the examination for this well known private college, but now she showed up in the freshman orientation hall. She too had taken the law school entrance examination, catching up with him there.

Shame on you Tada Banri, have you forgotten the official instructions that Indiana Jones has given us on how to deal with cults? It is common knowledge that you are supposed to defeat their leader in unarmed combat (only works if their high priest is a man and is in location), steal their holy relic (in case there are many relics, steal the holiest/shiniest. You will know what it is when you see an idol made of gold or crystal), and then outrun your pursuers whilst shouting "THIS BELONGS IN A XXXXX MUSEUM" where "XXXXX" stands for the type of museum the relic ought to belong in (e.g. an art museum for a painting or a history museum for artifacts) only leaving that part blank if you aren't sure which kind of museum would house it. At least you fled from your pursuers with the heroine, so that is a plus, but I hope that you remember the other rules next time you raid a cult. Of course, dealing with secret societies is a whole other issue, but that doesn't matter in this case.
You guys are getting a bit ridiculous. This story is a "romantic comedy", according to both the author and the publisher. It may go all over the place as far as romance, misunderstandings, jealousy and such things are concerned, and will probably play extensively with people jumping to the wrong conclusions because they don't see or understand all that goes on around them. The author, Takemiya Yuyuko, has not been known for straying far from that type of story. The likelihood that two-timing, betrayal and such will find their way into this story, at least as far as the main characters are concerned, is (IMHO) extremely low.
Run, Run away fast before they force you to watch any of Ben Affleck's horrible acting over and over again
@ TeddyG
Please inform me if you are going to drop it. Also afraid of the flag mentioned coming up.
Linda seems to be much more a flirt in the manga then she every appears to be in the book. In the book she is quite serious, though she makes repeated jabs in Banri's direction about the need to remember.
Oh yea Linda is pretty hot to she looks Almost Identical to Junko from ichiban ushiro no daimaou except linda has a bigger bust but yea she's just a nice to look at as kaga :)

Damn this manga just leaves you with wtf haha funny tho
Man...the Crystal Cult is doing it all wrong
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjErByDfm7k
The exact word used in the book and manga is 結晶様, which means literally Lord Crystal, though here it is represented Crystal-Sama, which is essentially the same thing with a Japanese flavor.
I know this is besides the point, but I think the crystal cult would be a good name for an antagonist organization in Seikon no Qwaser.
no spoilers please as long as its in a spoiler tag. Really would like to see where this will end up :)
Fuuu~!! Why the hell did I read the spoilers!? Stuupid mee...
Reviewed the raw HTML for this page, and the answer to your question is
Spoiler
. To understand why this is the case, you need to read the remainder of the first volume, and a few more pages of the second.

Can't read your question . . .
Hi guys,
To those who read the LN translation, a quick question:
Spoiler
You guys are something else. Needy. Once we get through our backlog (to chapter 10, it seems), things will slow down to no more than one chapter per month. Mind you, that's still faster than I'm translating the light novel 8-/
want moaaarrrr!!!@
"Don't get what's going on..." - - Read the light novel. But that would be cheating . . .

At this point in the first book, it was not at all clear what was going on, either. As near as we can tell, the point of this adventure (which covers the next two manga chapters also, BTW), is to build a solid friendship between Kouko and Banri, in preparation with what will be happening in the next few chapters, through the end of the first volume of the light novel, and probably through chapter 12 or so of the manga.

The manga has been published through chapter 9 in Japanese so far, and it is going at a pace that should take it to the end of the first light novel by chapter 12, in time to publish a second tankobon volume.
@ Tonie Zap: The latest raw is chapter 10. For now it looks like the second tankōbon will probably contain chapters 7 to 12 of the manga and it will take us at the end of the first light novel volume. 2 tankōbons containing 6 chapters each for each light novel volume. The magazine that has the manga, Dengeki Daioh, is monthly and it is published on the 28th each month.
i didnt get what the fuck was going on LOL
Oh it's only in volume 4 in light novel and still ongoing. How 'bout the manga?
Thanks for the update
really funny and can be intresting :D
