Description: |
Kurogane Hayate finds herself in a dilemma. Her twin sister, Nagi, is recovering from an injury and needs someone to go to school in her place. Little did she know, the school was based on a "Swordswoman League," where everyone participates in what are called Duels for Stars with their sisters-in-arms, shinyuu, in order to gain prestige, money, and power.
Her first encounters with the students at this new school range from intimidating, such as with the Student Council President, Amachi Hitsugi and her shinyuu, Miyamoto Shizuku, to completely awestruck, such as the hot-headed but extremely experienced (and without a shinyuu) Mudou Ayana. At first Hayate thinks she can get away without participating in the Duels for Stars, but the first day she comes home, the orphanage she cares for deeply is a complete wreck... |

raise your hand if you want to kick this man's ass and dump him in a trash bin
Um...to get money for the Orphanage I think? I don't even know if Kurogane has a big role any more in the manga, Is she aiming for the top?
I forget, what was the original plot of this?
Agreed. This one is just below Gintama in my opinion in regards to utilizing all these genres.
This series combines action, drama, and comedy better than most manga series handle just one of the three. Five stars. Check it out.
Try to read it in here.
it works for me.
Chapter 76 is out, YAY.
There are no pages........ um what?
New Partner for Nagi, Let's call them Team Lost-alot, It will be like the blind leading the blind.
I think Nagi found her parnter
Vuvuzelas. Never forget.
....Props Father-san. You are without doubt the single most powerful male to have shown up in this series as far as I am concerned.
Even considering that among those that have shown up include Kuga Dad.
the presidents... they're multiplying...
I swear, Those four are going to come back as monsters after their 'trip'.
Unless it actually does nothing and they just come back tired. XD

The graduation memory...is a chalk outline of a body...
no! dont rip off her ahoge!
Such Ominous comments in the chapter which would have had me worried about the manga coming to am end, if it wasn't for the fact I've checked on Senmaga and there are 40 odd Chapters left, and then a sequel which is currently at 11 chapters.
