Description: A manga on Urasunday Magazine, Sekai Oni follows the story of a little girl called Shinonome Azuma.

With her parents dead or missing, Azuma has been taken into her uncle's family. However her new family has been harshly abusing her, to the point she has become so mentally unstable she developed the rare syndrome of Alice Through the Looking Glass, which makes her see things that shouldn't be there reflected on mirrors, water, glass, etc.

Everything begins when the things she sees start affecting the real world directly, and the barrier between reality and illusion breaks apart.

Welcome to the world at the other side of the mirror. Welcome to wonderland.

I don't even mind the ending to much. It could have been far worse.

Azuma kinda looks like Ringo-chan from Danshi koukousei no Nichijou now...

Oh that's it ? i really can't grasp anything from the ending just like something unimportant become something so important like that saeki worried feeling about azuma ...

Thx for the scanlation team .. itu was quite a good ride even though i don't really understand the ending and the epilouge after all that things happened ...

Well damn, that was unexpectedly expectable. Of course Azuma wouldn't care about any of the inhabitants of Maze, and it was silly of Seki to think so - they don't have anything to do with her. Azuma doesn't weigh things on any moral scale but her own desires.

And that epilogue... Saki and Utou breaking up is so fitting for this manga. It's not a typical "happily ever after" scenario; the relationship between Azuma and her mom isn't what she dreamed of; life goes on, and never perfectly.

Overall, though it may be atypical and confusing for the typical reader, you dig into it a little more and find that it was a great series.

Given the circumstances, this was a happy ending.

Mom is a crazy bitch xD.

That was one fine ending xD.

Given the circumstances, this was a happy ending.

Well it's over...

Not sure how I feel about the end, but the journey was enjoyable.

umm, did utou and saeki break up?

Yes it was kinda obvious that'll happen, after all utou's true love is that mangaka dude :)

Adachi has no taste in cars, good ending though.

This is it.

While the manga has some serious flaws, especially in the middle around 5.5th night, I enjoyed following this work for what it's worth, because the author loves to screw with expectations in a market that is truly saturated with standard shounen formulas.

The ending was unsatisfying for most and led to A LOTof flaming on the author's twitter (it was quite a famous incident on urasunday), but I actually didn't mind it that much, now that I re-read it. The only shame is that the ending was probably cut short (rumors say the author was obsessing over pokemon games at that time), and in a way the epilogue made it even worse. At least you guys got an epilogue, try to imagine how hard it was for us who followed this manga live, with no index to indicate the manga's length and no hints that it's gonna end in one chapter

I decided to work on this manga for two reasons: first, in how many mangas do you see someone being clobbered to death with a giant dildo? And second, it's a major centerpiece from one of my favorite publishers who is known for unconventional materials. It's no work of wonders but it did widen my own perspectives on how to deconstruct shounen in an unusual way, so I am grateful I stuck to it until the end even if it's completely different than any other project I did in the past.

Thank you readers for sticking around until the end, I know it wasn't easy at times. Maybe we will see each other again in a different project (Hito Kui from the same publisher is also a manga I laid my eyes on but didn't bother because someone else used to work on it), have a nice day.

Dunno about mangas, but i killed a lot of people like that in Saints Row. Dildos are like, heavy maces there.

Adachi clearly got the best end, he somehow bought a Hummer.

Good going Adachi.

I also want a Hummer ;_;

Azuma did something so powerful that now the japanese are driving in the other side of the car, she really destroyed the world...of drivers at least

umm, did utou and saeki break up?

not so bad but not so good ending

at least azuma become prettier :D

thanks for finishing this manga "Tsuki to Chikyuu Translations" *thumb up*

If the world's saved, why would the mirrors still be worrisome? Weren't the things in them a result of the whole "world being in danger" thing?

No, seeing things in mirrors is a disease that isn't correlated to the other world per se. Whether maze exists or not doesn't affect their hallucinations, alices are simply able to interact with maze because of their illness, not the other way around.

I'd forgotten about that... maybe the Texas legislature has a point in banning dildos but not guns after all. (^_~)

Not at all; thank you for all the work you've done to share this with us. ♡〜٩( ˃́▿˂̀ )۶〜♡

People like you are the lifeblood of our community... I wish more fans were cognizant of that.

just one thing that bothers me.

what about that girl adachi used to see in the mirror? you know, the one that liked flowers.

That's his hallucination, not sure what you want to do with that...

Kinda like watching a jigsaw puzzle being put together... then just as it becomes possible to tell what it's a picture of (but with lots of gaps left to fill in), the author comes out and says

"You can figure out the rest. The End."

Azuma once again confirmed for best protag.  Millions of innocents?  Meh, who needs angst.  And glad that the mom has some sort of neriouses; would have felt weird if she gave her kid up and suddenly got her back, no complications included.

So . . .

What's exactly wrong with azuma's mother? can someone give a clear explanation?

It sounded like her mother was more concerned with her boyfriends than her daughter's safety - the way Azuma talks about (probably) all the men her mother is involved with plus her uncle that sexually abused her made me assume the mother keeps bringing men who try to prey on Azuma home. Especially the whole giving up her daughter so she could work worry free to buy an expensive house.

So . . .

Doesn't it say 5 years passed? They're just trying to show age.

Five years doesn't account for changing Azuma's hair black and Bird Boy's hair white.

I was so thrown off by how differently they look that I literally didn't recognize Azuma until they called her by name.
