Gah high school manga settings sometimes make for the silliest form of drama, I can't take this seriously.

I can't take this manga logic. A woman that long graduated from the school, has the power to cause ruckus in the school whenever she feels like it ? And even threaten it's students ?

The whole "don't dye your hair thing" is something I could never understand. Well all the rules about looks. But I suppose that is the result of a culture that values conformity.

 

Though I don't know how common it actually is in japanese schools.

Really? I thought the reasoning was quite straightforward when it comes to schools. Imagine having an entire classroom that is concerned with dying their hair. Life would be very different. A few people doing it isn't much because they get used to it, but those that copy are in for a ride. Similar principle as wearing stylish shoes, accessories, watches, latest phone and whatnot. It becomes a major concern while in reality they should be thinking about more important things. I myself am against dyeing by default since before I was schooling, but that's because I was 'against' conformity. In my country, women dye brown or red to look cool and I find that stupid. If you are going to use dye, at least use a more out-there colour. Even blonde is better than stereotypical brown(for me, not saying this to other countries), but they are too scared because it is not the fashion. And using it to hide gray hair? Uh... I understand that some people judge you for it, but again, you doing that is giving into pressure. Be proud of aged hair. Not saying you can't dye your hair simply because you genuinely want to. If I ever felt like dying, I'd dye it some absurd colour, but I like my black with random gray.

In Japan though, the style is usually blonde and there is a reason for the 'yankee' term; because it is an American fad. You can tell how it is viewed just from the degrading tone of the term. Other colours would fall under cosplay and while sketchy, it isn't as bad as yankee.

This is one of the most suspenseful yuri manga I've read, lol. Of course, then there's that useless "love triangle" nonsense and so-called dramatic turns. Anyone know how well this manga does in Japan? 

Well color me surprised: I'm genuinely interested in what's going to happen. Usually with Citrus I'm interested like I'd be interested in a soap opera, but it seems much of the melodrama has passed, the leads are dating, and the manga will focus on other things going forward. Pretty excellent!

Let's just hope this is true. There have been way too many mangas that followed the useless drama route. You think the drama is finally over when the leads are dating, but then there are some random misunderstandings/events that cause even more drama that could've been avoided with a simple explanation.

Alright, a peaceful chapter. I'm just gonna pretend it's all smooth sailing from here and drop the series before Mei happens again or smth.

So... gotta admit, that the kiss was kinda cute, but... this whole situation doesn't make any damn sense. I just have this feeling that Mei is not an overly fleshed out character and the author is just using her however he wants to. You could actually justify some of her weird actions and the fact, that she apparently misunderstood Yuzu up to this point (even though I have no idea how you can misunderstand someone telling you *I'm serious about you!* right in your damn face a couple of times), with some kind of social disorder, but if you look at everything she did and said- is doesn't fit entirely. Mei just doesn't make any sense and I'm not quite sure if I can take this whole thing serious anymore. I mean... hey.. the 4th NTR is up ahead, eh? It's not a love interest, but she will put herself between 'em to get Yuzu out of this school or something like that. At least she will be up against Mei, because she doesn't do her job properly. So... another random character that will cause drama, yey! o/

Oh boy... I would like to enjoy this manga, but the only thing I can do is complain... I wonder why~ :/

No, they carry on being more profitable than ever, mainly due to them showing things that Batoto won't because the PC brigade cry like babies.
But this was SUCH an irony! What happened to Batoto being 'nothing like mangafox'?

Anyway, reading poached manga isn't beneath me, so I shant wait for a different one, myself...

Everyone else is whining about mangafox, and I'm just sitting here squealing like a schoolgirl at the fact that the yuri is actually progressing.
