good thing that in the end niu still go with kouki
he made bad movee
he should slap the Niu-brat first then give him the lecture
I agree 100% with you author, the B-cup are the true wonder of "realisticity"!
There's nothing wrong with girls being cool, so there's should also nothing wrong with boys being cute, right?
It's pretty safe to assume that Niu has always been a boy, and merely became girly after achieving humanization. The translations do kind of confuse that issue though even further with chapter 10, having the owner refer to them as "you girls" when I believe the raws were gender neutral.
Personally, I'd translate and put together those four panels seen in page 92 like this, which is a bit different to how it's translated in that chapter:
1. For some reason,
2. Despite being a boy, he wished for the appearance of a girl, and because of that...
3. He became liked by a human boy. (might fudge it a bit to say something more like "He caught the attention of a human boy")
4. He would pick up any girly thing...
I'm by no means fluent yet, mind you. It's not really an attempt to criticize the other translation.
So - okay, I've done a little digging. And I really do not know how to read Japanese. So if someone can read these two raw pages, that would be for the best for everyone. (Spoilers contain raws that have been translated)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would believe that this one page pretty much dictates what Niu's gender is: (Non-spoiler: Ch 4 Pg 7)
Niu is a boy?!
Oh hey, an update. Wasn't expecting that.
Miu lied about Niu's gender in order to humiliate her in front of the shopkeepers brother, to be sure that they didn't form a forbidden varied-human relationship. Niu overreacted out of embarrassment because of her crush, not because it was true.
I...I thought Niu was a female! >.<
and this is really cute >.<
It's, generally, marked Shounen if it's serialized in a shounen magazine...
one of the main characters is male

...
a cat have 9 lives ...
and said 1 live is count as a year ...
so cat average live is about 9 years ...
(HOWEVER this also depend on type and genes tough)
...
yep, just see Symphogear anime ...
MC is girl (and partial yuri feeling too) but the fight is quite intense to the point it goes shonen ...
and the ultimate attack must be paid with great price ...
thus making the body get wounded all over (girl body get bleeding from mouth, nose, eyes and ears) ...
Cat lives only last a year?! Glad nobody told my cat about that one.
Shounen: A work intended and primarily written for males. These works usually involve fighting and/or violence.
No where does it say the protagonist must be male.
