Description: | A remake of Birdy the Mighty. Birdy Cephon Altera is a Federation agent chasing interplanetary criminals to the planet Earth. While in pursuit of one such criminal, she accidentally kills a high school boy named Tsutomu Senkawa. Fortunately for Tsutomu, there is a way to keep him alive. He ends up being merged into Birdy's body and must remain so until the repair of his body is complete. So, Tsutomu is stuck sharing a body with an attractive, strong, and impulsive space police agent while trying to keep his family and friends from finding out about Birdy. In the meantime, Birdy continues her investigation. Together, they take on a secretive group of evil aliens planning to perform experiments on the unsuspecting inhabitants of Earth. "The original manga ran in what is now Monthly Sunday, but when Masami Yuki began serializing Kyuukyoku Choujin R in the pages of Shonen Sunday it began appearing infrequently, and was eventually abandoned. Only one volume was ever collected. In 2003 Masami Yuki moved from Shonen Sunday to Weekly Young Sunday, a seinen magazine, and began drawing a remake version, starting the story from the beginning." --Wikipedia |

What is this crap manga about?
wow so many views birdy sure is getting popular
i thought it was whisky
Hikawa must be drinking the blood of a thousand virgins, if he keeps de-aging. X_X
Yeah.
Its been so long since I read this. Kind of tempted to start over from the beginning. I remember the abandoned building in the lake and there was a way-back flashback. Are those Abduction and Memories of a Marionette?
that new guys name is an anagran for "A Nazi"
The police may not have, but the special task force headed by Shigenobu is aware of her as a "silhouetted figure often seen on top of buildings".
I can't remember if Birdy's been plainly seen by police before this or not. Obviously she'll managed to get out of it okay, but with the police openly engaging the beasts it seems like we're fast approaching a"first contact" situation. It's possible that might affect the Galactic government(s) policy regarding Earth.
Well, now we know why it's titled that... It only took seven chapters. XD
I must contradict you: this is exactly what translation is about. And that's why your translations are so good. ^^
Thanks for the compliment! In some cases, it's not even about translation, but rather about intent comprehension. Certain dialogues are completely rewritten from scratch to convey the same intent as the original, but in fewer words than a direct transliteration would allow. That's when I rely on every writer's secret weapon: Editing (;!
Perhaps nobody else picked it up out of respect. You're crazy good at it. I really feel like I'm reading a professionally translated volume off the shelf when I read your scans. Keep up the good work!
Not gonna lie, I'm half curious how long this ball-growing spurt is gonna last. Tsutomu always seems to find a way to chicken out at the last second...
Tsutomu grew balls. O_o Impressive.
While it certainly does have quite a few followers, it seems few of us are capable (or perhaps willing?) to translate it.
I am very happy to have you back
So Gomez is an American Vampire? XD
I'm quite surprised that in my 20-month hiatus, no one else picked this series up. It seems to have quite the devoted following, after all...
Thanks for the update. Binge read all of it.
It lives!
What a pleasant surprise!
yes! i thought this was a dead project but gladly i was mistaken.
A great man once said:
"Never Give Up, Never Surrender!"
That movie character was right!
