Actually, I pair Kaoru with Yuuri more... But I still think Matsukaze/Kaoru is cute. And TBH my favorite character is Andy Hinomiya (if my username didn't give that away xD) but... I'm a sucker for cute dogs. Especially golden retrievers!

Shiho likes dogs as well, specially human dogs. I'd pair Matsukaze with her boots, latex boots.

I love the comments and thought everyone is putting into my complaint, but the hypotheticals are getting too complicated. Shiho does not need to read people. She can read objects. She could literally walk about the base touching things and find traces of where Minamoto has been sent.
Would that make a compelling story? Probably not. 

Nope, it could become a compelling story, it would be more of a mystery story though. With lot's of investigation, martial arts(using famous weapons) and a dark brand of humor.

Poor Minamoto. He's been degraded from the Children's CO to the supporting cast's personal cook.

Really though, Shiho could easily find Minamoto with psychometry. Since, you know, that is what she does. Plot plops!

Yeah, sakaki is that doctor with psychometry. Well it's been long time ago but i believe there were chapters which showed us a future of our trio and in said future shiho had an episode with sakaki if i remember correctly. Like you said i also don't like to imagine shiho or any of the trio with a guy like sakaki. I won't say that they should form a harem and be with minamoto, but out of all the guys to whom they can be attracted shiho choose sakaki He should be fine with side characters not main ones.

I actually kinda like the Sakaki x Shiho pairing, they go pretty well with each other.

And by that i mean that shiho is his queen, and loves to torture him.

I haven't read this since the obnoxious kid Sakaki shows up and steal the spotlight from Minamoto since his personality and behaviour somehow managed to make me irritated on subsconscious level =_=" And after so long I want to resume reading it and then I see comments that Shiho is seemingly attracted to this kid? Ugh.. I know it's illogical but I don't want to see any one of the trio ended up with someone like Sakaki...
