I think I just heard my heart shatter; that side story was too heart-wrenching.
one of those comics where i'll read the first two chapters and then skip to the last chapter and still feel satisfied.
I really like this mangaka! Amano's mangas are not overly-cliche and the characters have depth to them.
Dat oneshot... So I went to Katakoi Triangle's page in Mangaupdates, and the comments instead talk about the oneshot, Secret Garden. Shinobu Amano really like to give a surprise at the end on her oneshot huh, just like Wasureyuki... truly a heartwrenching one...
This kind of defied my expectations. Cute, and heartwarming short read. The humor isn't forced and exaggerated, playing well with the more dramatic parts of the story. Side story was excellent and heart-wrenching. My heart literally couldn't handle it.
On a side note, knowing that this is the same author of Last Games, the similarities between Kujou and Yuuki are so glaringly obvious. Both unrealistically dense, and portray humane characteristics.
then yuuki x himemiiya story...
it would be fun to read..
I've wanted to see Kasai and Sekiya together, though.
In the end we don't get no conclusion cause the way Yuuki and certain aspects of the story were lacking, so the author shot himself/herself in the foot in a way, because she made Yuuki so indecisive, mental retarded that the only way to end the series is to have some unrealistic soap/shoujo drama where there is no reason for it. The author just the drama to lie to us with a cheap conclusion.
I don't think I gave any particular spoiler, just some vague stuff based on my opinion.
There are few things that I hate, one example would be where you stay really close to the person you love daily and endure the unanswered love. it's so unrealistic and stupid for someone to torture oneself like a masochist where you are reminded of your rejection constantly. I think realistically you'd put some distance to heal your wounds instead of digging deeper into them. Authors using such situations where they stay close to their love.... it's just some cheap drama crap, another trash drama would be where you hurt the person you love for its own good... pure crap.
Well, rant off... sorry about it but it gets me enraged when I say such crap situations.
