I was surprised when I read a lot of hate comments from such a good plot and illustrate manga, so I decided to read it...
Now I'm not surprised anymore...
Read the first few chapters and it's very average. The Chuunibyou was mildly amusing, but the first antagonist are of the standard psycho+evil type - boring. The Mc is pretty standard, girl 1 and 2 also didn't display any interesting personality until now. The setup for the battle royal is basically "hey we gave you nice trinkets, no fight to death because we say so" and immediately there are psychos who do exactly that.
I'm not surprised that it got axed If it doesn't get better.
I feel cheated after all those waits for new chapters. The awkwardness of how everyone suddenly met up with one another and how they seemed to know one another with a sense of familiarity is infuriating in every aspect. In my opinion, this feels like another work that was forced to be rushed in the end. Although the ending does seem somewhat right for the manga, the whole adventure seems to be missing the experiences that propel us toward actually accepting the ending itself.
Overall, I'm sadden with the fact that this is how it is. This is how it starts and ends. Fifteen chapters. That's it, guys... That's just it...
I have a feeling this is designed to have a sequel...
Not a bad ending. But am I the only one who started thinking of Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga when he said "Warriors of Purgatory"? When you think about it plot premise is kinda similar.
Fuck, that was a really bad ending.
At least he saved the majipane, she's pretty hot.
Please let there be a proper remake! The ending's fine, but it's more like the ending of volume 1 or something.
What bothers me is the part in between the magnificent mindfuck at the very beginning and the "To be continued" that would leave me drooling for more if the middle part wasn't so fucked up (but in a negative way).
So rushed that i couldn't even keep it in the ending...
'-'
The ending was okay. I'm pretty sure you guys wouldn't complain, if this series would have continued and had some own twists here and there.
Anyway, ending was okay, and FINALLY an ending where the guy actually gets the girl dammit.
wtf with the ending
man this felt like crap. honestly.
Personally, I thought it was rushed from the very beginning and the dialogue didn't flow at all.
Poor execution and not surprised it was axed.
It certainly not bad ending at all!
That escalated quickly!
Think this pretty much fits this manga's end.

Gangan online, published by square enix.
Axes always make for unsatisfying endings.
What magazine was this from anyway?
Well, no point in complaining. Those mangas are from different magazine anyway, heck even different publishing company, they got their own market, their own readers.
Oh dear, I agree. And don't even get me started on Freezing... I seriously cannot understand how that piece of crap
(sorry)is still running.Such a pity.. This manga has such potential to be awesome but flew out of the window just like that. Yes Mr. Axe did it again.
Yet shitty manga like knim, freezing etc are still ongoing, spreading bullshit to people.. how unfair this world we live in.
Sad about the rushed ending, but I gotta say, they did a pretty good job with what they had here. Not a bad ending.
Psyren is that... is that you?
