Why was this axed.  It had so much potential for an anime.

Zhan Long was axed by the publisher a long time ago.

There's only to chapter 17 (well 3/4th of ch17).

Not sure where you are getting your raws since you said they are expensive contact me and I can get your them for a few cents per chapters (raw price). That goes for any manhua that's on u17 which are most of them.

I love how they say Quality>> Quantity and go and overuse Topaz on their cleans XD, so much for quality :P.

The LN is boring enough when it reach a certain chapter (forgot which one), and the manhua is even worse, a major arc is skipped in the manhua (when the mc get his bee pet, and of course how getting a pet in the game is never mentioned in the manhua, and some other arc might be skipped again if it ever continue).

The light novel disappointed me.

man i feel like crying with sadness when i think how good this used to be before they changed artists, not just art but overall quality too... now it is just a confusing mess

what a shame T_T

The light novel disappointed me.

Alrighty, to the novel I go.

I find it hard to believe the problem you guys are having is the art.
Isn't the problem that it's a generic Garry Stu story with redundant elements?
While I came here to read something casual and easy to pick up, this one was especially disappointing...

The only reason he can play the game, is because of an artificial limiter: He has to act as a bodyguard both in RL and virtually!
....But he never really guards her. He only plays games all day long.
And, at best, she's the one protecting him within the game....While he never really guards her outside of the game...Which renders the entire premise absolutely bloody pointless.
And Why would she even need protection in a game? Her identity is anonymous, nobody would harass her.
The entire premise the story lies on is utterly and absolutely pointless. It's a very poor excuse to start the story about a VRMMORPG, which is not such a big sin -- but nothing cool ever happens, especially in the later chapters -- he bloody grinds and does boring fedEx-quests.
The author worked so hard to asspull his way into getting his Garry Stu into VRMMO-land, just in order to do boring, mundane crap, as he eludes his job assignment?

Maybe the LN is better written, I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me -- It isn't the first time I saw an adaption which butchered its source material (like Tate No Yuusha. Buddha knows the source is not a work of art, but the adaption made it even dumber), but I get the feeling the overall story is very underwhelming.

P.S: Who the F*#(% rated this page 5 stars!? How!?

Whatever people say I still like the manga. Was it dropped?

bye i done with this awful terrible manga, better reading LN

Well, shit... I just started this and read up to the latest chapter. I was enjoying this so much for the first 10 chapters or so, but once the art style changed, everything just....fucked up... Seriously, what the hell, man? Why would you change artists all of a sudden when everything was going so well? Honestly, this is such a majorly huge disappointment...

The first 10 chapters has a nice pacing. But it went terrible after the artist changes. I don't mind the art style changing, but the new artist is really bad in managing the pacing and theres lots of important things skipped. And I dont even need to read the novel to notice it...

this is all i am going to say read the novel the manga is butchering it

Normally I'm happy to read a comic adaptation since I love the format but... this has just been going downhill faster and faster. Just straight up announcing that they're skipping sections was the last straw for me and I've switched to reading the novel.

Better read the LN... after all the seriousness of the first chapters, the characters became awfully silly

i feel like im missing something, after chapter 11 theres not enough info... he went from being nearly pked to soloing a dungeon. what happened?, minor time skips everywhere, not to mention the artistic style. I cringed at the eating scene in 11, did we go back 30 years style wise?

I am really confused about what just happened. Where did those two come from? Then after all of that (being time skipped) why would they suddenly say, "OK, bye. You finish things on you own." Why on earth would they suddenly assume there wouldn't be any more monsters or fighting?

What just happened??

What happened to the red names? What happen to the burst chance when killed? What happen to the offline story? This is no longer based on the web novel. This is just a manwa using the base theme and the characters names Using the shell of the story. I can tell they will not show the true ruthlessness of this story at all.

Between chapter 10 and 11, the Novel had over 60 chapters translated
Man, and they cut out like 30 chapters of stuff in the manga already somehow

Umm, what the fuck just happened? It's like several chapters worth just randomly got skipped, wtf

This went from amazing to, pretty awful so quickly

It's like I'm reading a completely different series after ch11. What in the butt happened?

Faces are too flat.

Too much LAME posing.

Spoiler

Scenes are also being shortened....

Some one get the old artist back cause this one sucks (comparatively)!

What happen to the art???? just when i continue it on the novel and it was so great. but this art, guess 3 more chapters before unfollowing it.

The artist changed.  It seems to be a thing with Webcomics based on novels, as a couple others changed their artist (and style) within the first 15 chapters.
