There's fairly little stupid or not well-informed by saying vegetable or fungal proteins are harder to digest, particularly when you confirm it by saying you can get plenty of proteins from egg, milk and cheese, which are all animal-derived.

 

Regardless of that, I figure that if you want to live without eating meat, then you're entirely welcome to do it; if you want to live your life fruit-free, instead, then the more power to you, as well. I'm certainly not going to tell you what to eat or not to eat, even if that might force you to supplement your diet with nutritional supplements — and I understand that it doesn't. Like my grandpa used to say, make your choices, then live with the consequences.

I do eat those other proteins, and still no difference. Although i see what you came from, but like I said, vegetarians are not vegans, vegetarians, only eat veggetables as it's main food, but has no problem in eating proteins aside the ones that come from meat, vegans are extremists whom thing they are being healthy, when they are not.

With enough milk, cheese, eggs and butter - yes, since milk is essentially blood plasma and eggs are the chicken itself before being formed.

 

And it doesn't contradict my point, since I was talking about soy and shrooms (the latter being actually dangerous thanks to their tendency of accumulating pollutants).

Don't be silly, eatable eggs are the unfecunded ones no chicken will ever be born in there, although some countries do eat the fecunded ones(blergh, freaking chinese*, they eat anyhing). So yeah,no meat there.

*Yeah i do know that this is only true in a small part of china, my industrial processes teacher was chinese, after all.(Dunno if this name is valid in other universities outside my country, could someone please confirm? Yeah, I'm in the Industrial Chemistry course)

Nah, probably just biased. You can get enough proteins from eggs, milk and cheese to live a very healthy life even from an early age, no matter how easier it is to absorb meat. I'm vegetarian since forever, never had any lack if proteins, and I rarely get sick too.

Actually, it is relevant. There's also the fact that vegetative and mycogenic proteins are more difficult to digest. Don't ask me why, I don't know.

 

And I even remember biology teacher in school warning us against vegetarian diet for that reason "at least until our puberty ends".

......There are large communities that do exclude all forms of meats form their diet. The use of "millions" is hyperbole as I can't be bothered to look up the figures. Also not all "western" vegetarians are vegans.

 

 

 

Well his teacher might have. But my point is that vegetative and mycogenic proteins being harder to digest hasn't stopped a lot pubescent kids on vegetarian diet growing up healthy.

Indeed, most western vegetarians are still vegetarians. Vegan people are ridiculous, let them all die due to lack of nutrients.
